This faucet is garbage. The base is floppy, and the plastic base cannot tighten, which results in a bad fit to the sink base. I had to fill the gap with tonnes of putty.
Spend another 50 bucks and get a better model. Home Depot should stop selling this product. The bad part is, how can I return it, as it's already installed, and it would take more time to rip it out, get a new one and put that one in.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by MaxTheDog Wobbly after install because of too much plastic
The base plate (escutcheon) is plastic, the lock nuts are plastic, and the two threaded shanks that the lock nuts attach to in order to fasten the faucet to the counter are plastic. The result is too wobbly to be functional.
This type of quality is what you would expect on some generic private label product for less than half the price of this faucet.

I'm not a shopper, so when my wife requested that I replace the kitchen faucet I simply went to the store and bought a faucet in the price range I wanted. Removing the old faucet was a challenge, but installing this one was quite easy. The first problem occurred hen I tried to re-install the Culligan brand water purifier that fits on the end of the faucet. The old faucet had male threads, but this one has female threads so the purifier couldn't be attached. There was probably an adapter included when I bought the purifier years ago, but obviously I did not save it. I called Culligan to see if I could simply buy an adapter, but they don't sell that part alone. The second problem occurred when my wife tried to clean a large, deep pot. Our sink is fairly shallow, and the old faucet was fairly high so large pots fit under the faucet easily. This faucet is fairly low, so large pots don't go under it easily.
If these two issues are not important to you, then I think you would be satisfied with this faucet.

I received the replacement cartridge as promised and I was pleasantly surprised, Delta also shipped the brass bonnet that installs on the outside of the cartridge along with the directions. The cartridge installed in less than ten minutes but I played with the o-ring on the new bonnet to seat it properly, using the old bonnet as the reference, so total install time was less than half an hour and it fixed the problem where I had to set the handle just right to stop it from dripping. Delta gets major points for sending the additional parts as part of the warranty!
While I was installing the new cartridge I noticed an orange lever and didn't know what the settings would do, but I just noticed now that Home Depot also provides access to the installation guide, go figure, and found out the lever sets the handle limit to avoid scalding. I had read that somewhere ages ago but had forgotten or didn't understand it at the time, probably in the installation guide that came with the faucet. Extra kudos to Home Depot for the guide!

I am a handyman and install new faucets regularly. This faucet is very popular with my clients, mostly seniors, for a few reasons. It is simple to use, attractive, high enough to fill pots, sturdy metal with chrome finish, and dependable since I have not been called back to fix one yet. It is popular with me too as it is the easiest installation I have seen on a faucet yet. Yes it has some plastic parts that are under the sink, but other faucets that sell for much more and up have the same thing. Oh, and I put this in my own sink.
