I bought this one to replace a different brand faucet that was getting hard to operate. Installation was very straightforward and the faucet functions very smoothly.
I was, however, quite unhappy with the quality of construction. The base appears to be plastic, not metal and it doesn't hold the faucet very steady. Like another reviewer said, just moving the handle to turn the water on and off causes the whole faucet to flex and rock back and forth, and yes, the faucet is tightened down well on a very flat sink surface. My wife said it seemed like a "doll house faucet". I'd return it if I could, but I already installed it.
I am a mechanical engineer and I actually worked in plumbing design back in the 1980s so I have at least a little idea about what I'm talking about. I've installed several Delta faucets in the past and was always satisfied. They were very solid and easy to work on when they did need service. This one doesn't inspire confidence. Maybe it will stand up to long term use. I'm hoping for the best.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HomeOwner555 Look elsewhere for a heavier all-METAL faucet - this one has too many strikes!
I researched a lot of faucets before purchasing this one. I did so because some were making comments that it's one of the "metal" ones -- it's NOT. It's the same plastic base as the majority of the others. Not only that, It's so LIGHT that even the lightest tug on it to open/close or change temp of the water makes the whole unit move. I paid a two hundred dollar fee for a plumber to install this (not including the price of the faucet) - first with the included silicone "putty thing," that I saw water slightly going underneath and bypassing it, then to come back and re-do it with plumbers putty ONLY, no silicone pad (never do both, per the plumber, the best plumber in town, no less). Although there are no leaks under it, it's still feeling like there is a lightweight plastic faucet underneath the handle every time I use it. (I had another brand (we know what that was) that was ALL METAL before this for 5 years, so I KNOW the difference). To top it all off, DO NOT BELIEVE anyone telling you that you can shut the water off from ANY ANGLE. You can ONLY SHUT THIS OFF FROM THE CENTER. Sure, you can angle it down, let's say, from the right to the bottom center, but it doesn't always "catch" to the bottom, and you're often left with a stream of steady slow-running water when you think you've shut off the sink! This is not "just me," it's ALL members of my family have done this, as well as two guests I've have over since installing it. It doesn't kind of "roll down" from the side to the center - it rolls then you HAVE TO PULL STRAIGHT DOWN in just the right spot to shut it off. I now find myself ALWAYS having to check the water after I quickly shut it off - that NEVER happened with my basic classic "other" ALL METAL faucet that I had before this, for 5 years. Additionally, the SPRAYER will BEND at the top, where the hose goes into the sprayer gun, if you use it at certain angles. Then you have to sort of bend it back so it lays straight in the hole holder! This is UNACCEPTABLE, because I'm sure what I'm having to bend out of crookedness is METAL, and repeated acts of that will eventually compromise and/or BREAK IT.
If only I hadn't been so hasty when a small plastic clip in the handle broke and ripped the entire faucet off (and destroyed it) instead of making a quick call to them, who would have for FREE sent me the replacement part, I wouldn't have had to shell out the bucks for purchasing/installing this unit. It hurts to have to do that, but if this faucet was great, I would not be complaining at ALL. It just stings more that I bought something that is not equal or superior to the prior one, which was even LESS than this one. This is lightweight, hard to close off the water, and just an inferior product to other. My plumber said Delta wasn't bad, but it's not his number one choice for faucets. Well, now I'm stuck with it until this breaks, and then I'll test Delta's customer service and come back here to add that, should the day ever arrive. Live and learn!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jonesey Very nice looking faucet
Installation of this product was pretty simple for my handy man - no problems to speak of. It looks lovely and the sprayer works great with no drips. The reason I gave it three stars instead of a higher rating, is because when the handle is pushed to the right for cold water, only a trickle comes through, whereas we have great water quantity and pressure for the hot water. Thought it was the hoses but after trouble-shooting other aspects, it is some malfunction of the faucet. We like it alot and it looks great, so we ordered the same one again and will be switching them out. Surely the second one won't have the same issue. Customer service is great and no problems with the return.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Looks great and works wonderful.
Delta 400 with sprayer nicer than what I expected. My plumber couldn't get it from his supplier for the price I got it from Home Depo. I saved about $80 bucks.

My husband installed this faucet without problem. It works well and I like the design for the price. Husband says he only wishes the lines coming into the faucet were a bit larger in diameter to give a greater water flow. This is not really noticed with the aerator that is in place, however.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chuy This sink faucet looks great. Real smooth operation.
I had a plumber instal the faucet because I needed a new shutoff valve under the sink. It took him about 45 minutes to do all the work. The faucet looks and operates real good and it has no leaks.
