Customer Questions & Answers

I have a standard moen shower/tub fixture, with the pull-up lever, and one knob for turning the water on and off.

I could not turn the water off to my tub. The plastic knob was cracked when removed. Could it be due to the cracked knob , or a stripped faucet handle, or both? If so, what are the replacement costs of the parts?

Thank you for your question. It is not recommended to use Delta shower products with other manufacturers' rough-in valves. To use this Delta tub faucet trim you will need to also use a Delta rough-in valve.

Customer Reviews

Classic Single-Handle Tub Faucet Trim Only in Chrome-DISCONTINUED is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No hot water I hate this faucet. The problem I have, is that despite having the hot water heat turned up so high it scalds me in any other faucet, this fauce does not allow you to adjust the water temperture very well. It is impossible to run the water pressure on low, but get hot water. In order to turn the pressure on high, you turn the knob to hot. You cannot get high pressure with cold water either (just the luke warm water that's supposed to be hot). Now it might just be my house because the water has to travel upstairs, but I think if I were able to only turn on the hot water, like a faucet with one handle for hot, and a seperate handle for cold, I would be able to better control the temperature. I'm not interested in remodeling to adding a facue to make two handles, but I'm looking for something that will allow me to pull the handle out for presure and turn left and right for the temperature. I think that one option is just not enough.
