Does this faucet have a threaded nut to secure it into the center hole?

Do you have a similar model that has threaded nuts on all 3 holes?
Asked by: Helen
Hi Helen, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 140-DST is secured with nuts on two shanks on either side of the spout. We do not have a model that has threaded nuts on all 3 holes because you have to have room for the supply tubes to come up through the middle. Thanks. Jody

If you are looking for an inexpensive but functional laundry tube faucet this single-handle Delta will do the job. The faucet head extends beyond the back face of the laundry tube far enough to fill any bucket and water your potted plants. The base plate is chromed plastic and the rest of the faucet must be constructed of other light weight material because the entire unit is very light compared to the old Delta laundry tube faucet it replaced. The single-handle lever requires the lightest pressure to operate so I'm hoping if I use it gently it will function without problems for a long time to come. The old Delta lasted about 20 years, I'm not that hopeful for the new Delta.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well but noisy Easy to install. No leaks. Hot water control requires handle to far left . Low flow rates easier to control.than previous faucet. Faucet noise is high in other parts of home; not sure what causes noise; earlier reviewer noted same characteristic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst faucet I have owned It is hard to get warm water, instead of hot or cold. The second setting under the handle gives only luke warm water, no hot. It is also difficult to shut it off without a drip. It is so annoying that I am replacing it with a Kohler. Delta customer service was useless. Their only response to the problems was that they have a new dcartridge design; nothing to help me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Basic Faucet in a brilliant finish Ignore the naysayers. If you are looking for a simple, basic faucet without all the bells and whistles of sprayers, pull-downs, high arcs, touchless, etc... BUT want a smooth lever action, gorgeous finish, and a brand that you know will seal when shut off - this is your faucet. Basic, but looks great - perfect for a nicer rental property where you don't need or want all the bells and whistles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant looking, easy to install, and works well so far. I went for the stainless steel version, rather than the chrome. It cost $35 more, but I think it's worth it, as it looks quite nice (not just the finish, but the shape seems a bit different). One reservation: it seems the very hot/cool transition depends rather sensitively on the position of the lever. This is certainly not ideal. Maybe it has to do with my installation. I may try turning up the cold or turning down the hot valve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product. Good basic faucet. Easy to install. Attractive finish. Would be nice to have the gasket fit into the holes of the sink more to keep the faucet from shifting position once installed. This might be an issue as it's being used.
