Product Overview

Messy hands touch on a Delta Touch2O faucet

Delta Dominic Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology

Delta Touch2O Technology makes kitchen tasks easy: simply touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Operates manually (with handle) and with Touch2O functionality.

A Simple Touch Makes Life That Much Easier

Responsive, Precise and Reliable

Touch2O Technology is based on highly responsive, precise and reliable capacitance technology similar to that found on smart phones or tablets. Outside factors such as lighting conditions, clothing color or reflections do not interfere with the sensing capability.

Hand touches faucet on

Full Control

Technology in the faucet spout and handle can sense the difference between a touch and a grab, ensuring the faucet does not turn on and off while being adjusted.

Hand touching Touch-Clean nozzle

Touch-Clean Spray Holes

While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up, the soft rubber spray holes allow mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look.

LED light at base of faucet

TempSense LED Light

Light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and reduce possible surprises or discomfort. The LED light also indicates when batteries need to be replaced.

Faucet with magnetic docking

MagnaTite Docking

A powerful integrated magnet snaps your faucet spray wand precisely into place and holds it there. The wand stays docked when not in use and doesn't droop over time.

The Dominic Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet combines beauty with functionality. Thoughtfully designed to make kitchen tasks easier, Touch2O Technology allows you to turn the faucet on and off with just a touch anywhere on the spout or handle. SpotShield Technology helps reduce stain- and odor-causing bacteria growth on the surface and resists water spots, fingerprints and stains to stay cleaner longer. MagnaTite docking keeps your faucet securely in place and helps to prevent drooping over time. TempSense Technology measures and indicates the water temperature using an LED light at the base that changes from blue to magenta to red. DIAMOND Seal Technology decreases the chance of water coming in contact with potential metal contaminants inside of the faucet to give you cleaner water. In addition, InnoFlex waterways are cross-linked with an electron beam to help get rid of unpleasant odors and taste without chemicals.

Customer Questions & Answers

Does the spray want pull itself back up somewhat or does it require much effort?

I just had this installed and am used to my old faucet which, once I am finished using the sprayer, the weight will help pull back the sprayer back up and into position on the faucet. But with this Delta, I have to push the spray wand back up to the magnet. Does this sound correct?
Asked by: Jogopo
We just replaced our Grohe faucet with this Delta Touch. While the touch works, the pull out is not retractable like the Grohe. You have to push the pull out back into position on the faucet. While this may not bother some, it is a deal breaker for me. I think the advertising is misleading. I am returning this faucet & ordering a Grohe. The Grohe is more expensive, but buying a Delta that does not perform as expected is not worth $350. (And yes the counterweight is installed correctly)

Touching the base works but touching the spout does not

Anyone else have this problem of touching the faucet base works well but touching the spout doesn't work at all? The description and videos show that touching the spout is supposed to work, too. Not on mine. Anyone else with this problem?
Asked by: JustAsking
contact delta as this may be a defect with your model, the entire unit (all metal) is touch sensitive

Is the touch feature optional? Meaning, can you use the handle to get water, like a traditional faucet?

Asked by: Debkitchen
you can but if you have the touch20 unit contacted and powered on (battery or power cord) when you touch the handle it will turn off and on with your touch

The temperature control is touch sensitive, when you try to adjust the temperature it constantly turns the unit on and off. Besides this one issue, the rest of the product is great.

Shortly after installation and for the first week or two, my review would have been 1 star. The faucet simply would not work reliably; at times it refused to start up on touch and at other times it would start flawlessly only to be unresponsive to a request to shut it off. At other times, we were startled to have the faucet just start up on it's own, while we sitting at the breakfast nook some 8 feet away. After several weeks of frustration and on one last attempt to fix the issue, I went back under the sink. It occurred to me that since this touch feature works on some sort of capacitance, I rechecked the (red) wires between the sensor and the battery pack. As it had occurred during installation due to the lack of a tie strap, I neatly tucked the excess length of red wires behind a dishwasher supply line that had a metal hose connector on it. Having not recalled anything in the pictograph installation instructions about placement near metal, I moved the wires away from this metal connector (this time with tie strap in hand) and low and behold, the issues with intermittent start/stop and unattended starts disappeared. It has now been two weeks and the unit has performed flawlessly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A mind of its own... This product was purchased two years ago. Approximately one year into ownership, if the faucet lever was in the open position, but off, we discovered the faucet would turn on randomly. So, the protocol with the family was to ensure the faucet lever closed and light off whenever not in use. Then, the faucet would not turn on without moving the wires under the cabinet. Now, the unit leaks from within the the faucet base under the cabinet. Our cabinet is damaged and this horrible mechanical nightmare is going in the trash. By the way, the unit was professionally installed and our water supply is of excellent quality. I do not recommend this product!!!

I installed this faucet in mid-January and had problems with a persistent drip leak. I complained about the leak and gave a low rating on this web site. Customer Service read the review and contacted me to propose a replacement part (the solenoid valve). The part arrived, as promised. For a month after replacement of the solenoid, the faucet has remained drip-free. I offer an appreciative "thank you" to the Customer Service people! The faucet was relatively simple to install, the Touch2O technology works well in my installation, and the surface remains spot-free. I am now very pleased with the faucet and am writing this review to update my original opinion.

I had a hard time choosing between Moen and Delta for hands free technology, but I wanted to give the Touch2O Technology a try. What a big mistake that was. Installing was easy and straight forward. When it came time to use the Touch2O Technology it was working here and there. After about couple uses you would have to hit the faucet hard with the back of your wand to get it to work. After, a couple of times my hands started to hurt. It’s not word the trouble or the money. Delta was the worst experience for a touch free that I want back to manual instead not even worth all the hassle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely trash! This thing is the biggest piece of junk I've ever bought. The handle is touch sensitive just like the rest of the unit. So every time you go to adjust the temperature, get ready for the unit turn off and on 50 times.

However, after about 1 year, we noticed the rubber covering the joint at the handle was gone. This was followed by intermittent leaking when the handle was open but the faucet had been "touched off". Now we have been totally grossed out by what has happened at the outlet nozzle of the faucet. The angle of the faucet allows water to pool at the lower side of the nozzle, providing a breeding ground for a fungal colony. Also, small pieces of rubber were hanging out the end of it. At least we hope it was rubber. I can't believe we have been drinking water from this. If you think this sounds like we live in a rural area without city plumbing, you are wrong. We also have a water system that has some of the best rated water in the U.S. What we have is a really gross faucet we are worried about using. What a bad investment we made.

Easy on / off with a light tap and the magnetic feature to firmly hold the spray head in place when not in use solves one chief complaint of our old faucet. I'd give it 5 stars except for one huge design flaw - the handle, when in the hot water position, sticks straight out over the sink and is in the way often especially when washing larger items. I'm really not interested in going through the removal and install of something else (too lazy) so I'll try and get used to it. So far its pretty inconvenient though. This faucet had different size connections to the supply valves than the old faucet so I had to go back to the store of more parts to connect so take a look at that if you are installing yourself - may save you a trip.
