Purchased the faucet w/sprayer a year old and looks good, has worked fine until recently. It drips after each use. Is there some direction that I might repair this minor, but annoying problem?

Hi Jack,
Thank you for your question. Please try removing the aerator and soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes. This will help dissolve any mineral buildup that may cause water to become trapped in the aerator and drain out more slowly. You can also turn the water on with the aerator removed to test it. If you need any further help, please call our customer support Read More

Answer:
Not sure this will help. Some diverters use 1/8" pipe thread. Some use slip fitting with a U-shaped clip to hold the spray hose to the faucet. If it's 1/8" pipe just get a pipe plug or cap and you are all set. If it a slip fitting with a clip you may have to get creative.
Good luck.

I have read that chrome faucets and brass fixtures can cause lead in the water. Will this faucet cause lead in the water?

HI XYZ123,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # B4410LF is composed of a low lead brass that meets the low lead legislation in today's market.
Thanks.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by delta single handle faucet installation was straight forward everything thing lined up and went together smoothly. August 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good faucet for the price If you're strapped for cash, or have a rental property this is a good faucet. I apprenticed under a plumper for a while and we installed a good amount of delta faucets. I would recommend a faucet with the diamond seal technology. This model doesn't come with a weight for the sprayer so I have to retract the hose manually, and if we turn the faucet up quickly we get water-hammer on the sprayer. with that being said it does its job without costing us extra money. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Problems From The Get Go Very poor quality. Not the traditional quality you would expect from Delta. Have a thumping noise when turning on the water. Sprayer also leaks. Called Delta, told to I needed to "flush" the faucet before install. If this was true, why is it not in the instructions?? Told I needed a replacement part. I thought I bought a new faucet. Guess, I should expect to buy new and repair immediately is the new norm. July 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great item for the cost I have installed Delta and have never had any problems June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality and thumping noise I normally don’t write reviews but I thought it necessary to warn people to stay away from this faucet. Installed this faucet about 2 weeks ago and it started thumping 1- 3 times (as many of the other reviews say) when you turned on the water hot or cold. As I found out through looking online that this is from the diverter valve. I followed an online recommendation to flush the valve so I took apart this brand new faucet and did that. It didn’t fix the issue. I contacted Delta about the noise and they responded about a day later via email with an order notice that they were sending me new O rings, diverter valve and sprayer hose that was leaking too. The items arrived quickly to Delta’s credit but came with no instructions. Luckily since I had already taken the brand new faucet apart I knew what to do. I replaced the parts and guess what….still thumps… and now when you shut the water off it’s starting to leak around the spigot part and the top cap. The part that aggravates the most is the overall feel of poor quality. When operating the faucet it doesn’t feel like it’s attached to the sink very well. Upon further inspection I found that the base is not moving so much as the upper half of the faucet doesn’t make a good connection with the base which might be the cause of the small leak I described above. It's been this way since day one. They need to tighten the tolerances when manufacturing for a better fit. I always though Delta was the standard for quality faucets but that not the case here. Looks like I will be returning this faucet in the near future and going to a competitor. There are much better things I'd rather be doing with my time off. July 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Believe the Low Reviews! (This purchase can be verified) Immediately after install, I experienced rather violent thumping of water through the faucet and leaking around the sprayer as noted in many other reviews. I’m just taking it back to Home Depot. Here’s the funny thing. When I read reviews I only look at those noted that are verified purchases because I think someone went through the effort of verifying purchases, and those that have been verified are more credible (I thought). I also assume that those that are not verified are not true or perhaps a competitor attempting to influence the specific product or the retailer. It does not appear that any of the critical lower-rated reviews that I read before this purchase were verified; even the video review of the exact same faucet doing the exact same thing as mine. It makes me wonder if HD Is attempting to discredit the lower reviews by not verifying them. I will never buy another Delta product again because they have to be aware of this issue. I’m also considering using supply houses for my needs rather than Home Depot based upon this and other recent problems I’ve had there. Really, why would HD continue to sell this junk and risk future sales? This issue goes back quite a while on their own website. Is anybody driving this train? June 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Walk away from this one. In fact, run. This is the second time I've purchased and installed this faucet. The first one, in chrome, lasted about 18 months before it developed pinhole leaks along the length of the faucet. Every time I turned it on water would seep thru the metal and chrome. I replaced it with the stainless version and within a month it started to make a howling sound every time I turn it on. The sprayer leaks every time the water is on and the water drips thru the mount hole and into the cabinet under the sink. Poorly made junk but I guess I got what I paid for. May 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great product The kitchen faucet looked so classy in our kitchen sink. Our previous faucet was the same as this new one. I just got a replacement because the base has corroded a bit through the years. I really like this brand. April 19, 2016
