Answer:
Yes the faucet itself swings left and right without pulling out the sprayer. It does not swing completely 180 degrees, but it does swing far enough to reach both sides. The sprayer just adds that much more functionality.

In the Delta "Grant"(16953 SS-DST) pull-out faucet, one color choice is a "stainless steel finish". What does this mean?

Some manufacturers state that their faucets are "stainless steel". Others just refer to the finish as stainless steel. I don't understand the difference, if any.

Hi Thebull1956,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16953-SS-DST will mount on a granite countertop as long as the countertop is not more than 2 1/2" thick. This is the maximum deck thickness allowed by this faucet.
Thanks.

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 131 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Decision I am very happy with this Delta faucet. The length of the pull out is significantly longer than the faucet I replaced it with, and it glides easily when pulled out and replaced. I installed it myself (female), and the process was simple with good directions. I compared prices in the area, and Home Depot was reasonably priced and included free shipping. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The faucet to own! Had it installed, but it works great! The nozzle detaches too! August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Install!!! Easy Installation with only an adjustable wrench - 5 stars August 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best faucet While the faucet does look attractive, I have two problems with it. First, no matter how many times we've worked on the spray part of the faucet, there are some areas that shoot out at an angle, almost sideways, instead of straight down like most of the spray. The second issue is that it takes a while to adjust the faucet when I want warm water. It seems like there is a fine line between hot and cold, and I feel I am wasting water whenever I try to run the water warm. I should return this for a different brand and model, and I still might. Just not looking forward to the hassle of removing this, researching and shopping for a different one, and then installing once again. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great faucet Just what we were looking for. This was being installed on an island sink and we didn't want a tall, swan neck faucet in the line of sight. This faucet is a great height, simple, and clean looking. It's not smudge-proof so it does need the occasional wipe down to get the finger marks off but there aren't little crevices that hold dirt so it's very easy to clean quickly. Was simple to install and comes with the plate for a 3 hole sink, we only have a single hole for granite install. Would definitely recommend this faucet. Delta has always been a great brand we trust. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazingly Perfect Yes, it's a lot of plastic - so clean carefully. My adult son (with little to no experience with plumbing) and I were able to remove an existing faucet and replace it with this one in less than an hour (we read carefully; the old faucet was stubborn). Perfect install. No leaks!. I expect the plastic hoses will last until I do a complete kitchen upgrade. It's quiet enough. Dual spray is a nice feature. The unit swivels nicely. I won't be using the pull-out handle often. I'm sure it will come in handy soon enough. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good. Love the stylish look. Was oozing for a faucet that didn't go too high and this worked perfectly. Love it so far. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value faucet Easy to install and works great. I really like that it sprays narrow and wide patterns and will remain on the pattern chosen until you change it. June 28, 2016
