Product Overview

The Delta Lakeview Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless beautifully combines elegance and functionality. With just a gentle tug, the pull-down spray wand comes free and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. This means you don't have to worry about drooping over time. A toggle on the Multi-Flow wand enables you to increase the stream from the standard 1.5 GPM normal, everyday flow to a higher flow to more quickly fill the sink, pots, vases or other large containers. The Lakeview faucet is equipped with DIAMOND Seal Technology that decreases the chance of water coming in contact with potential metal contaminants inside of the faucet to give you cleaner water. In addition, InnoFlex waterways are cross-linked with an electron beam to help eliminate unpleasant odors and taste without chemicals. The construction and functionality give you a faucet that's built to last up to 5 million uses.

  • Stainless, a neutral, low-gloss finish
  • Single-handle lever provides simple control over flow and temperature
  • High-arc pull-down spout swivels 360 degrees
  • MagnaTite Docking keeps the pull-down spray wand firmly in place with a powerful integrated magnet
  • DIAMOND Seal Technology features a valve embedded with diamonds to ensure like-new operation for the life of the faucet
  • Touch-Clean soft rubber spray holes allow for easy removal of hard water, calcium and lime buildup
  • Ergonomic pull-down wand gives you water exactly where you want it, making kitchen tasks quicker
  • Includes a matching soap dispenser and optional escutcheon
  • Meets ADA standards
  • Fits 1, 2, 3, or 4-hole 8 in. installations with included optional escutcheon

The deck plate is there only if you want to cover up holes. I installed mine without and it looks great! There is a picture of it in my review.

Answer:
I figured out that the hot water position pulled forward, toward front of sink, cold is pushed back - it's on the handle in very faint letters.
Still wondering about the handle position - can it be installed so that the handle stops 45 deg from vertical on either side of the faucet? Or am I stuck with vertical for cold, and horizontal for hot?

Cons: The light gauge braided hose kinks when you pull down the sprayer and raise/move to the side - a very annoying feature. Also, the weight could be heavier, it doesn't do a good job pulling back into place. These issues could be standard for this style faucet, but is worth knowing.

I love the faucet, had to replace a gasket after year, but my BIGGEST problem is the rust on pull down hose and inside the sprayer after less than a year.. This is ridiculous for the money spent. I have to use CLR rust remover every couple of week to keep clean. Should not happen!!! How do I resolve??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and nice look. Easy install! Our current contractor grade faucet decided to fail at 9:30pm on a Friday night. After working for nearly two hours to get the old one out, we started the install of our new Delta Lakeside faucet and soap dispenser. The install only took 20 minutes! Full plumbing lines were included, compression style fittings made everything neat and clean. The top filling soap dispenser was a snap to install also. We love the magnetic storage of the spray head, the easy swing of the arm and the 2 setting spray types that are available. It is a very elegant and clean design that operates smoothly. Thanks Delta!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta engineered a great product again. From its striking design to its handy features, this is quite a faucet! And its easy to install. Very few tools needed and the ones needed are basic hand tools. Its one handle operation is very handy as well as the high rising swivel spout. Add to that the fact that you can detach the integral sprayer and now you have easy access to rinsing all dishware no matter where they located in the sink. Plus you can easily reach those countertop devices that are adjacent to the sink that need to have their water reservoirs replenished occasionally. Wonderful. Simply grand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really good, practical faucet set up The all in one design with the magnetic head assures it will always stay together. The high faucet in the center of the sink, with 2 spray options makes it really versatile and useful for any size pan and for switching between jobs with just a press of the button. However, I was disappointed that my good metal faucet came with a plastic top soap dispenser. It gets used almost as much as the faucet and is close to the sink where it could be hit by heavy pots and pans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Faucet I love my new faucet, this is the 3rd Delta faucet I have purchased in 3 years. I have two in my NY home, 1 for the kitchen and 1 for the bathroom. And I also have 1 in my NJ home for the Kitchen. I never had any bad experiences with Delta. I know the handle on the faucet has to be on the right side, but I'm left handed. I turned the faucet around for the handle to be on the left and it hits the wall when I put it in the full position for the cold water. The one in NY is okay because the sink is in the corner so I have plenty of room. The one in NJ is below a window and that's why I am having this problem. I was wondering if there is a different handle I could use that is shorter. I brought the handle home to try and switch it with my NY faucet, but it's a different style. I'm hoping you have a solution for me. Thank you in advance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After owning it 1 year, can't get leaking to stop Bought this for a complete kitchen remodel last year. Off and on over the year it has leaked out of the end but tightening it seemed to fix it. Now it won't stop leaking and we don't want to over-tighten it and possible break the plastic. The leak is at the connection to the bell shaped end. Very upset because Delta has always been a favorite for us. Not sure whether to take the problem to Home Depot or Delta.
