This faucet is great. I like the overall look and feel. I like the high arch so no more banging the dishes on a low lying faucet. I think the stream or spray while in the faucet is a great idea. It installed in about 30 minutes. My cabinets are from the 70's so not a lot of room to move around in. It will look great (not that it doesn't now) when I get around to installing new counter tops..The waterways are extra long, but can be cut to size. They even include extra bushings in case you need to cut them. The only thing I don't like, and it isn't that big a deal, is the soap dispenser top is made of plastic. Over all looks fantastic. Excellent product...

We had this faucet installed 12/10/14 by a master plumber. When he went to install the handle unit, he was unable to make it set flush on top of the new Kohler stainless steel sink, which he also installed that same day. He discovered there was hard black plastic extending just below the base about 1/16 of an inch - all the way around, just inside the exterior wall. It was firmly attached and not adjustable. We quickly made a trip to Home Depot for another one. It also had the same issue. (Note: it has since been returned and the employee applied a "Defective" sticker to it, as she could see the problem, that the handle unit could not be installed flush.) The plumber contacted Delta both by phone and email. Delta was emailed the photo of the un-installed unit (same one attached to this review.) A Consumer Response Representative sent an email with the following determination [copied exactly from the email]: "I am sorry about the inconvenience. Unfortunately when we reviewed this case with out technical staff. we did not a manufacturers defect. Please check to see if the sink is level where the faucet would be." Both the plumber and myself had already communicated the sink is absolutely level but Delta made the decision that the problem was on our end and not due to a manufacturer's defect. The base sets the exact distance above the sink - all the way around - which it wouldn't do if the sink were not level.
SO....if you decide to purchase one of these faucets....check the handle unit first and see if you also have purchased one of these - what I would consider 'DEFECTIVE" - units and then decide if it's something you can live with, before you're almost through with the installation process!
My other complaint is how HARD it is to fill the soap unit. It has a very narrow entry so filling it can be messy, even using a funnel. (Note: this is using "equate" brand hand soap refill. I'm guessing a "runnier" soap would probably fill easier.) A small amount pumps out at a time - but that's a personal decision if that is good or bad. I personally would like just a bit more to dispense from a single pump.
Other than those two issues.....I like the way the faucet functions. If I could change something (if possible!) I'd add a Pause selection in between the spray and stream selections. I'd also make ALL the unit pieces above the sink be metal instead of some plastic, especially considering the price. So that's something else you might want to check that you can live with before installing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jeffb A definite upgrade
We purchased this faucet at Home Depot, based on the recommendation of the store assistant. We had it installed professionally and even the plumber commented about the quality and features of our purchase. He was not a HD affiliated or recommended plumber. The pressure is strong in both normal and spray modes. The soap dispenser is new for us and filled a previous hole for the old sprayer. I purchased this faucet when my wife was out of town. She's happy so I'm happy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NCHokie Excellent quality--didn't fit where needed
We were very happy with the look of this product and the quality of the materials. Because of the style of the lever and the height of the valve assembly, we weren't able to turn on the water full force since the lever would hit the edge of the bar top counter. We chose the Delta Kate model instead and that works in our kitchen. You can see in the photo how the backsplash & countertop affected what type of faucet we could use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jake very nice faucet
Previous pull-down spray head broke, so needed replacement fast. Liked that this had the control separate from the water arm. Tried to ask/confirm that it could be mounted on either side, but the question submission process takes days, so took a chance and got it. I have a stainless steel sink, so the reinforcing mounting plate was very nice, makes the mounting area very solid. Water connections go together well, arm swivels easily and the spray head works well. I would buy this again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JP1225 looks nice, sprayer leaks
I bought and installed this the day before Thanksgiving (3 months ago). I have called Delta numerous times in regards to the sprayer leaking. They have sent me three replacement sprayers now. Each one of them begins leaking water from the sprayer when I have it set to the stream. I turn the faucet on and the water comes out of the stream and either sprays or drips from the sprayer. I'm very dissappointed in this cheaply made faucet. I will be escalating this issue with Delta as I no longer want the faucet.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pete faucet magnet needs secure mount.
The faucet design is excellent. Looks good and finish is durable. The big fault as of February 2014 is the magnet dock in the faucet. The pull down faucet work with ease and docks well by the magnet. The big problem as of present is the magnet dock is not secure. The magnet releases from its mounting and pulls down along with the faucet head. This happened on my unit after 6 months use. Delta said they will send me out a new faucet unit. I am responsible for re-installing thr faucet . You all know the expense of a plummer. Would it be fitting to de-duct the installation cost from the Design Engineers salary?
