Hi Zaldr,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 59963-SSSD-DST is not recommended to be spaced more than 4 inches apart to get maximum use from the pull out hose.

Yes. By using flex-hose, you can space the separate components any distance.

Answer:
The valve connects to the faucet via a single hose. You can place it further from the faucet, but that will shorten the "pull out" distance for the faucet nozzle.

Answer:
Hello ZALDR,
You'll be fine, the connecting line between the handle and spout is between 52 and 62 inches long. The concern will be making sure the supply lines reach the hot and cold stop valves under the sink. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Chris

Wondering if its worth it to drill another hole in our granite for the dispenser? Any cons? What percentage of customers use & like it? I've heard of the "never MT" hook ups- do they work well? Thx!

Hi Rosie,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 59963-SSSD-DST contains a soap dispenser that may or may not be needed. As long as you use regular liquid soap and not the foaming soap, the dispenser should work.
The dispenser is covered under the limited lifetime warranty. If you ever have an issue with it, please contact our Home Owner/Warranty line at 800-345-3358.
Thanks.

YES. Very slightly.

All such soap dispensers drip, some more than others. This dripping does not indicate faulty design or manufacture. It's just gravity having its way with viscous fluids.
If you are interested, here is the science:
When the pump is closed, atmospheric pressure holds remaining liquid-soap UP in the tube. Eventually, a few molecules of soap are vibrated enough to break the bonds near the boundary between soap and air. Since soap is mostly water, and water has molecular bonds, once a miniscule drop appears, it drags more water/soap mixture with it. The effect is very small, but you will occasionally see a drop or two in the bottom of the sink. ;-)

Answer:
It is a good dispenser. It does not leak. I find it difficult to fill it up with soap since the opening is narrow(regardless whether you fill it up while installed or you remove the container from the bottom). I wouldn't have drilled a third hole in the granite if I didn't already have one.

The distance from the soap dispenser across the faucet to the on/off handle is 10 inches. It comes with a plastic piece, with the holes in it, that you can use to elevate the height by about 1/2 inch but I didn't use that.

Hi Jackie, Thank you for your question. The 3 components of the model 59963-SSSD-DST faucet are made to install on a regular 3 hole, 8" on center sink/countertop. The 8" measurement should be from the centers of the 2 outer holes.
Thanks,
Dave

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 70 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love the look and the magnetic pull out faucet that will auotmatically reconnect. Our last faucet did not have this feature so nice change. we needed to replace our current faucet that had a continuous drip that we could not fix. I went to several home improvement stores and finally found this model with the separate on/off handle and soap dispenser. Our sink is installed at a different angle so there was no way to cover the holes with the plate that also comes with some models. The warranty on this Delta faucet is great- since we did not have this with our prior model, hence having to purchase a new one. With teenagers in the house needed a sturdy model that can withstand several teenage boys who can be pretty rough on things. The sleek model goes well with our kitchen design. Love the pullout faucet feature with the auto retract feature. Overall great product and with good warranty that comes with it as well! July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Kitchen Faucet I would rate this product excellent up to this point. The faucet looks great in my kitchen. The finish is excellent with no visible flaws. The soap dispenser was a slighter lesser quality than the main faucet but this is minor and it still looks stylish. The faucet works well; no dripping and everything functions as it should. One note of caution; the single handle is very sensitive in that very slight movements result in drastic changes in water temperature. This takes some getting used to not to get scalded. Overall I would recommend this product. August 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This proves you get what you pay for! I have always purchased the everyday, low cost faucet until now. What a difference. I'll never buy anything different! July 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This faucet is not worth the money This product went together and functioned fine at first. After about three years the magnet catch came loose and would not work anymore. I contacted Delta with no satisfactory results. The magnetic catch does not even have a part number on their parts list. After about four years of operation the faucet was difficult to turn off. You had to pull the handle down and push it to the right to shut the water off. It got more difficult to stop the leak so I replaced it with a different brand. I think that most of the good ratings are from people that have not had the product for very long. July 10, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of drips After about 18 months of normal use, the faucet handle will not completely shut off the water and the sprayer will not completely switch back from spray to single stream. Given the price, I've been very disappointed with the quality. This is a very stylish, good looking product which was easy to install. Thankfully, it will be easy to remove as well. April 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install This faucet is great. I like the overall look and feel. I like the high arch so no more banging the dishes on a low lying faucet. I think the stream or spray while in the faucet is a great idea. It installed in about 30 minutes. My cabinets are from the 70's so not a lot of room to move around in. It will look great (not that it doesn't now) when I get around to installing new counter tops..The waterways are extra long, but can be cut to size. They even include extra bushings in case you need to cut them. The only thing I don't like, and it isn't that big a deal, is the soap dispenser top is made of plastic. Over all looks fantastic. Excellent product... May 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lakeview Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Very good product. The soap pump mechanism failed recently. Not a big deal.......it has received tons of abuse.......last but not least.......the awesome Delta customer service team sent me a new one free of charge.....Delta hands down stands by their product...with a great lifetime warranty. I will always purchase Delta products as long as I'm alive. Thank you! February 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product I have only had the faucet installed for three weeks, but it was easy to install, works great. April 20, 2016
