Customer Questions & Answers

Wat is the hieght from the deck to the bottom of the spout?

The specifications say that the spout height is 11.38, but in the pictures it really doesn't look that high. The height is important for my application, so I want to be sure. Thank you.
Asked by: PK
Dear PK, Thank you for your question. The height of the Delta Linden Kitchen faucet 3353-DST model, from the base to where the water comes out is 5 7/8" (149 mm). The height from the base to the highest part of the spout curve is 8" (203 mm). I have included below, the Technical Specification sheet with this diagram information. Best regards, Tanya

Does the model #3353-RB-DST internet #203134959 single-handle side sprayer Delta Linden in venetian bronze have an optional escutcheon plate included?

Delta Linden Venetian Bronze faucet
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes. I needed it to cover the holes in the laundry tub that were too close together where I had it installed. My contractor then drilled another hole in the tub for the sprayer. The only disadvantage is that the lightweight resin (?) tub is not as stable as a kitchen sink would be and it moves slightly when I turn the faucet on. The contractor is going to try and stabilize it from underneath. This should not be a problem on a kitchen sink.

I accidently got this model instead of the one with the sprayer separate to the side. What would it take to change it?

Asked by: Dorothea
Hi Dorthea, Thank you for your question. There are two ways of fixing your issue. One way is to return your faucet and purchase Delta Faucet model 4453-AR-DST. The other way is to purchase a new escutcheon plate with model # RP44645AR and a support assembly with model # RP50787AR. Thanks. Jody

Linden Single-Handle Standard Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Chrome is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a happy compromise between price and style for... This is a happy compromise between price and style for a home that is a modern update of a cottage. I chose the side spray because I didn’t want to have a “saggy” pull-down sprayer (renters are hard on things) and I needed a hole for the soap dispenser. Delta parts are easy to find too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful external design, terrible internal design! I loved this faucet when I saw it. I was so happy to have it installed; it was smooth-moving, worked well, and was nice to look at and expected to have it for many years to come. However, after a few years, movement from side to side became very stiff and some black material was obviously deteriorating, coming out between the base plate and the swinging arm of the faucet. Delta customer service was great and offered to send me a brand new faucet in the same design (Linden), there was no replacement part available for that particular problem on that particular model. I was very impressed that they would do this. It took me some time before I finally had the new one installed (2-3 more months). After a about 3 more years, I was having the same exact problem again! I called Delta and they offered to send yet another replacement, which I accepted. Now, I have had to pay to have the same faucet installed 3 times! Sounds like a problem to me. Immediately after installation of the 3rd faucet, my plumber and I both watched the faucet drip. He was able to slow the drip, but it still drips nonetheless. As lovely as this faucet is to look at, it has caused nothing but problems in the long run.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great, poor water stream from spout I first purchased a Kohler faucet, but returned it after doing a comparison of 4 different faucet. I ordered the Delta Linden, for the high arc and spout height, shipment was on time and arrived in good shape. We had purchased a 8" deep sink, so we installed the sink and the faucet. Finish product looks great But the water flow is very weak, 1.8 GPM, for such a big spout, what a waste. I contacted Delta voicing my problem with the weak flow and they sent my an aerator at 2.2 gpm, it increased the water flow but not by much. I purchased a swivel spray aerator, but the spout is a 13/16 thread. Most swivel spray aerators are a 15/16 thread, so I had to purchase an adapter to make it work. Pressure is somewhat better and swivel make it great since without the swivel the spout water stream hit right in the drainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The look is exactly what I needed in my mud room. The look and size is exactly what I needed for the wash up tub in the mud room to match the lighting fixture. So much better than the inexpensive "chrome" one that came with the tub. Have used it only for about a month. I'm assuming it will last as long as other Delta faucets I've had for over 10 years. I checked out the finish at a Home Depot and then ordered mine online because the store didn't have the model I wanted. It arrived quickly and looks great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice faucet Easy installation for my husband. The only thing is, I agree, it does have a small stream of water compared to the look of the faucet. The sprayer has good pressure though, and the base for the sprayer is notched, so it can be placed at whatever angle you want it. For the reviewer who is spraying the wall, I'm thinking the hose underneath is turned to that the sprayer is facing backwards. My sprayer is facing forwards. The unexpected thing about the faucet is that it's longer than my old faucet and reaches halfway across my sink. At first I was displeased about this, but I think I will get used to it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Steam of water not very good for such a big spout. We had to make some fitting changes to install, but was easy enough to install. The stream of water is very poor for such a big spout. I hope there is a swivel spray aerator that I can add to this. The sprayer is very nice, has good pressure and a nice long hose. You have to be careful with the handle, so you don't spray the wall when reaching and pulling it out. The spout turns easily. The handle works good. Overall, it will work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this faucet Encountered three problems, one of which is not fixable. The range of motion of the lever is so narrow, that we are constantly scalding ourselves. What looks like the middle mix between hot and cold is not to be trusted as it becomes too precise by design. Now after only two years or so, it leaks if not played around with to get the perfect shutoff spot. Also, the swivel range of the faucet from one sink basin to the other falls short a bit and the faucet is not easy to move anymore. I know $100 is not a ton of money for a faucet these days but I would expect better design and quality. I'm sure I could have gotten a better faucet for comparable price had I gone with Moen or another brand. After first installing it, I thought it was decent but it only took a short time to realize the flaws associated with it. I would stay away from it no matter how much you like the looks and price.
