Installed door looks very nice. Install was not easy but doable. Very unhappy about location of etched logo. If you install door with handle on left as pictured, due to the coating on one side of the glass that has to go the inside of the shower, the delta etched logo and glass information is in the upper left hand corner - UPSIDE DOWN! Contacted Delta. They said too bad. They only make it one way only. They will not send another door or coat the other side of the glass. My choice is to put the glass in backwards and clean it more often due to the coating being on the outside or deal with the logo being upside down. Not the answer I expected or appreciate after spending thousands to make my bathroom spectacular!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nick Will replace it soon
It is a flimsy kit, fitting is a 2 person job and can be tough to fit/align, some of the counter sunk screw holes were not threaded correctly, some screw holes where not pre-drilled, some were. The instructions need to be more detailed in certain stages, leaves some guess work. Customer service would not help and referred me back to Home Depot (Home Depot told me to call Delta). The kit works but I am disappointed in it and will replace it later, waste of money in my opinion.

I've installed a few bypass sliding shower doors in my lifetime but this is my first pivot type door. Three boxes arrived in a semi on a monster 2x4 reinforced pallet. Box 1 are the knobs. Box 2 are the channels. Box 3 are the glass panels and installation manual with 3 small, very necessary, parts hidden deep in the Styrofoam at the bottom. The manual is well illustrated and easy to follow but all the illustrations and text assume a right side hinge so if you're installing with the hinge on the left you have to remember to reverse everything . I installed the pivot block backwards and didn't realize it until I began installing the main door glass. Getting it turned around took some effort. Have plenty of 100% clear silicone caulk on hand and measure twice, no strike that, measure three times, cut once. Cut the channels too short and you'll be on the phone ordering new ones.
The shower walls, in the apartment I installed this in, are not plumb. The gap between the edge of the glass door and the striker channel is critical. Too wide a gap and the door won't stay closed. Too narrow and you run the risk of shattering the glass. Thankfully the striker channel has quite a bit of adjustability, also the glass panel can be slide left or right within the pivoting clamps if you need more. . Finding the right gap is an exercise in trial and error, the manual is no help. I used the narrow edge of the drill jig as a spacer and that worked perfectly.
Delta warranties this door for 5 years although if the door is properly installed I can't imagin what could go wrong with it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cloe Quality nickel finish
Easy use pivoting shower door with heavy zinc finish. The extra thick tempered glass makes this a secure frameless door. The spotless coating allows easy squeegee cleaning of hard water spots. Five year warrantee considering this is glass is an extra benefit. One person installation for the handy person is an added feature. Glass shower door allows more light to pass through than a shower curtain!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by namenik so far so good.
This was just delivered the other day so it has not yet been installed, but there is a "viewing window" section of the cardboard packaging that exposes a few square inches if the actual door and it looks like a great solid piece of glass. I looked all over the packaging to verify the manufacturers part number and to find the word frameless, but Deltas' site didn't recognize the #.

It was hard to find a brushed copper clear glass pivot door that wasn't outrageous price, but this door fit all of our needs and works great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Captwalk1 Why is there a trim piece going across the top?
I was having the shower door installed and the installer asked, "Are you sure you want this?". He showed me a trim piece that goes across the top. In other words you have to duck to get into the shower. I ordered online and was not aware of the trim piece. I immediately told the installer to stop and I would return the door. Less the trim kit which had already been cut. I think Home Depot should point out the trim piece going across the top and make their buyers aware. It would have saved me the cost of the trim pieces.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CountryLady777 PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER THIS DOOR!
When we went to install this door many of the hardware pieces were missing - Home Depot agreed to try to get the company to send the missing parts.
THEN - we measured the door and the frame and realized the cross piece was 5 FEET 4 INCHES TALL!
No person of normal height can enter the shower without ducking their head or banging it every time they forget to duck.
I went back through the process where we custom-designed our shower door. No where did it show the door opened so you could see the top piece and no where did it explain that the height would be so limited.
Our bathroom project is delayed probably another week or so because now that we have the shower framed out for this particular door, we are going to order custom glass and hardware to make it work.
PLEASE read all the reviews for this product before ordering!
