I do not recommend for top mounted 3 hole sink.Threaded mounting stud is off to one side. To cover the outer holes you need to use the provided adapter. If you tighten nut enough to prevent the faucet from moving around it pulls adapter up at both ends and the entire fixture leans to the right. It might work on a single hole under mount but that is not what I have. A note in product details might help some others not waste their time. Will have to return item.

I installed this as soon as we got tit.I am so happy w/ the appearance that I now want to buy a new vanity. This is an excellent faucet for those who are installing a above counter bowl. Good height, superior finish and installation was a breeze. This has a modern quality about it. The single handle "race car shifter " as my wife calls it. is really easy to get used to. Cleaning is easy too. We choose to mount ours w/ out the extra base. Nice sleek finish.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PainterPete LOVE this faucet (except for one small issue)
This is a great faucet, GOOD LOOKING, GOOD functionality, GOOD quality EXCEPT for one small issue.
If one has a three hole sink, one needs to use the mounting plate. The faucet mounting "screw" that is tightened from underneath the sink to "snug up" the faucet is offset to the right if one is facing the faucet. Because the mounting plate has some "give" the faucet tilts to the right when one snugs up the screw where it need to be. It pulls in the "give" the mounting plate has and caused the faucet to "look tilted to one side. Because of this, one has to only snug up JUST ENOUGH not to make the tilt so noticeable, but the faucet (as a whole) can still move around a bit with some minimal force when cleaning etc.
I do not believe this will be an issue if you have a one hole sink and use the mounting escucheon ring as it seems it would not allow it to "tilt".
All and all, it is still a beautiful faucet, installs easily and functions well .

In order to fix the mounting issue, slip a couple of large thin fender washers between the mounting plate and the sink thus spreading the torque to a wider area. The splashy aspect was easy. China doesn't give a flip about craftsmanship which we do in America. The good news is the product is chrome plated, But, it is not chased (Google that). Take a small (very small) file and rub it back and forth at a 45 Deg. angle to the exit plane of the water. Side to side, not in and out. After a few passes on the long sides the water will flow perfectly.

Yup - It's pretty!! This faucet is a great way to update a bathroom (or my case a wet bar) at a decent price point and I personally LOVE the high arc. I agree that the mounting plate is quirky and doesn't allow for the faucet to sit properly however a little caulk under the plate evens everything out just fine so be sure to grab a tube when buying the faucet. Style, price and functionality all a plus!
