Product Overview

Messy hands touch on a Delta Touch2O faucet

Delta Pilar Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology

Delta Touch2O Technology makes kitchen tasks easy: simply touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Operates manually (with handle) and with Touch2O functionality.

A Simple Touch Makes Life That Much Easier

Responsive, Precise and Reliable

Touch2O Technology is based on highly responsive, precise and reliable capacitance technology similar to that found on smart phones or tablets. Outside factors such as lighting conditions, clothing color or reflections do not interfere with the sensing capability.

Hand touches faucet on

Full Control

Technology in the faucet spout and handle can sense the difference between a touch and a grab, ensuring the faucet does not turn on and off while being adjusted.

Hand touching Touch-Clean nozzle

Touch-Clean Spray Holes

While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up, the soft rubber spray holes allow mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look.

LED light at base of faucet

TempSense LED Light

Light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and reduce possible surprises or discomfort. The LED light also indicates when batteries need to be replaced.

Faucet with magnetic docking

MagnaTite Docking

A powerful integrated magnet snaps your faucet spray wand precisely into place and holds it there. The wand stays docked when not in use and doesn't droop over time.

Pilar Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology and MagnaTite Docking in Chrome is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved it until it stopped working We've had this faucet for a few years and absolutely loved it...until it stopped working. One day everything was fine and the next the touch feature no longer works. It is not a power/battery issue as the blue light still turns on and off with touch but no water will start or stop. We're pretty disappointed given the high cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool upgrade to the Kitchen I've been using the new faucet for a few weeks, and I'm really happy I decided to purchase it. It was very simple to install, with clear instructions. The flexibility of the pull-down handle is great, and the Touch2O capability works much better than I anticipated. The build quality appears to be solid and the finish is nice. The only thing I wish they did better would be a way to deal with the battery pack. It would be nice if there was a bracket or something included that would keep it up off the floor of the cabinet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but could have been made better The majority of the assemblies, including the solenoid valve, are made of cheap plastic. Everything is working fine now, but I wouldn't be surprised if the plastic winds up cracking. Also, not giving the option to plug the solenoid valve into an outlet, instead of being force to use batteries, was a big mistake. Other than these complaints, I love the faucet and it's functionality. If your not very mechanically inclined, you might want to hire a plumber to install it. There are a few steps and it's not the type of project that you can jump blindedly into. It's is best to follow the manual's instructions exactly as they're written.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low Flow I have owned this faucet for three years and had fantastic results. Then suddenly the water pressure has dropped way off...almost to a trickle. I have consulted the owners manual to in an attempt to remedy the issue but nothing seems to work. I believe a faucet should work for longer that three years...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy Sleek Stainless Touch Faucet - Wish I had it sooner Bought this faucet as part of updating my kitchen to granite countertops, new sink and new backsplash. I read many, many reviews about touch faucets before deciding on this brand and model. I love this faucet and wish I had it a long time ago. One thing I particularly like about this faucet is the separate handle. Many reviewers complained about the handles being so close to the granite backsplash that your knuckles hit the granite. This handle is longer and sticks up over the granite. I don't have any issues hitting the backsplash. Another reviewer complaint was the water force was so hard it splashed up. I haven't had that problem. The pull out spout sprays the sink and easily pushes back into the spout. I like the dual spray/single stream option on the head. The pressure is strong, but not too much to splash. The backsplash & back edge of the sink stays cleaner because you don't have dripping hands turning water on & off. You just touch the faucet. The profile is very sleek. The newer faucets with the handle on the stem appear deformed to me. Those faucet handles would hit the backsplash. I paid $375 for the faucet and it's worth every penny. I had a professional install the faucet, so I can't comment on the installation. I'd recomment this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very well engineered I installed this faucet (with my wife's assistance) about 6 months ago. It has performed flawlessly ever since. The care in design and workmanship of this product has been apparent from the time I opened the well packed box, to the extremely well documented assembly instruction and ease of assembly. We love the stainless steel finish which looks as good today as it did when we installed it and the touch operation is a dream. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a clean looking design for their kitchen and great performance

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty engineering We purchased the Delta Pilar 980T-DST in December 2013. It worked well for a while, but after a few months began to act erratically. The touch mechanism is poorly engineered and subject to repeated and persistent failure - and when it fails the water does not flow, or flows intermittently. A quick search of the web shows this is a widespread problem, and our plumber also says that no one he has installed one for has been happy with their performance. Ours has been reduced to a trickle and we've finally given up. We like the faucet itself and seek to bypass the touch mechanism.
