We selected this kitchen faucet for a remodel and had professionally installed by a licensed plumber. From an aesthetic standpoint it looks great for this project but it is what you can't see that is a concern. Simply, the fittings are cheap and our plumber shared our concerns. At a price point of $350 it looks like plastic instead of brass is the norm.
On the plus side, the faucet functions very well and the flow rate is excellent! Hope it holds up. We recommend it but manage your expectations.

Four years old the water no longer shuts off. Leak fills 16 oz glass in 22 minutes.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Richard Optional Extra of constant Leak
When you spend $350 on a Faucet assembly for the kitchen in a new house you would expect it to last a few years.....well, it didn't last a few weeks,
The assembly was never handled roughly and has only seen minimal use as my Wife doesn't cook often therefore no real amount of dishes to wash, just basically Coffee Cups which are used in the morning and maybe during the day....that's it.
A normal family with kids and a Wife that cooks...the Faucet wouldn't last a minute!!!!
The Seals just do not last any time at all and we have a "permanent" tea towel located around the base of the Spigot to catch the constant water leak.
Can't get a replacement unit under warranty, what good is a seal set?? it's only going to leak again.....
Buy another brand at the fraction of the cost......this one is all about show and no go.....

I paid a plumber to install this faucet and he did a solid job. After he was done, I noticed a bit of moisture around the base of the control handle on the granite countertop. I checked in the cabinet to find a small puddle of water. I called the plumber back and he came to check his work. Turns out the handle is at fault and might have bad seals and gaskets inside. I called Delta customer service and was informed they can send out the gaskets and the seals but would not send out a new handle assembly. I only want the one piece inside unit, not the entire handle assembly She said she could only send out parts, when I asked her if the inside unit was a part she said yes, but she still could not send it out. They are only sending the gaskets and seals and i either have to repair this myself or pay the plumber yet again to so this. The faucet was installed on 6/8/2015 and today is 6/16/2015. If this is the way Delta treats their customers, I assure you I will never purchase another product and I will be sure to tell everyone who asks to stay away from Delta.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Omar1951 sprayer hose built to fail
The sprayer hose should be made of some kind of braided metal (stainless) material....Its stiffness will eventually cause it to leak and fail...Other complaints that I concur with are the inability to regulate the water temp, and that the unit is too loud....The sound of running water now reverberates through the house via the water pipes

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by smc419a Revised Review - it's worse
I had written an earlier review "Beautiful Flawed Faucet". Things have gone progressively downhill. The logo marker fell off. That has allowed water into the faucet handle, which has gotten wobbly and feels like it's going to fall off. The faucet head is now a bit jiggly, too. We're not rough people! I'm so incredibly disappointed in this product. I expect these types of things to last 5-10 years. I'm not sure this one will make it a year.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DeltaInAkron Beyond the original...
During a 2005 kitchen remodel we chose a Delta high-arc spout faucet and sprayer for both the main farmhouse sink (along with a soap dispenser) and on the secondary prep/bar sink (in the coordinating smaller spout size). After just a few years, the main faucet had to be replaced and we sadly found that the original spout design had been discontinued. Even though the closest replacement faucet had a different spout angle and design than the original (so now it doesn't match the one on the prep/bar sink), we resolved that it was "close enough" and chose to stay with Delta. Overall we've been happy with the performance and quality. Frustratingly, the soap dispenser bottle has broken for now the 2nd time. The first time the plastic bottle cracked/broke where the neck meets the body. This time, the top threads of the replacement bottle (installed 8/9/13) have broken off inside the nut/countertop mount. My husband was able to back-out the broken threads from inside the nut but we now need a new (3rd) soap dispenser bottle. Separately, we also need to replace a broken plastic piece from inside of the handle/lever sleeve assembly. The broken piece is a threaded black, 4-tabbed plastic piece that screws onto the top of the valve assembly. That black, 4-tabbed plastic piece serves to position/seat the finished metal sleeve/cover (which has corresponding notches to align with the tabs of the black, 4-tabbed plastic piece). With one of the black plastic tabs broken, the finished metal sleeve/cover now spins beneath the handle. Lastly the red/blue button plug that covers the set-screw also needs replaced. I've attached photos and would appreciate help with the needed parts replacement. Overall, the performance of the faucets has been excellent; just failure of some plastic pieces.
