I maintain my gear, vehicles, home, etc. Career military. I know how to clean a faucet.
Take a look at the science experiment occurring on my bathroom sink's Delta Porter faucet in the picture attached to this review. This faucet has been in-use for approximately four years. It gets cleaned every couple days and gets deep-cleaned (w vinegar or CLR) every couple weeks.
Haven't been able to find a method or any commercial products that arrest the lime, minerals and crud. GL if you go w/ this one. You've received notice.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by nedarb Same issue as ticobrahe with corroding/green build up on faucet
I have the same issue with the faucet corroding and starting to form a green and white build up on the faucet. I can't believe such a nice looking faucet can be so flawed.

So disappointing to choose and spend so much on a new quartz counter, nice faucets and installation to have it turn out terrible. Wobbly handles and drain is poorly designed so the sink can't be plugged. Stem in back is at an angle so it hits the backsplash and is crooked. I spent the extra money on Delta and now wish I hadn't.

The only negative I have for this faucet is the handles are wobbly and can not be tightened anymore. Otherwise it looks wonderful in our bathroom. We just put in a new vanity with double sinks and granite, we really love how everything turned out. I would buy these again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ejms Looks good and works but handles aren't solid
Having never installed a faucet before, I found installing this faucet to be easier than removing the old one. After installation, it works without leaks.
As others have mentioned, the plunger doesn't operate very smoothly. The stem goes down between the main screw and water tube and noticeably scrapes against them when operated. When the plunger was closed, I could hear a very slow trickle of water going down the drain, so it may need some adjustment.
The worst problem was the handles. They are not very solid and very noticeably deflect past the stop when turned off. The problem seems to be, even though the handles are metal and are securely attached with the hex screws, the tall white plastic posts they attach to are too soft and have a lot of play in them. The overall effect makes the faucet feel really cheap.
I'm strongly considering returning this and the other two we bought in this line in exchange for something with a more solid feel.

Same problem like some of the other folks who wrote reviews, the handles have too much flexibility in them that they feel defective and makes them feel very cheap. Not what you would expect from Delta.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ckes Stems did not come with necessary fitting
The instructions describe pressure fittings with tabs that were not on the faucet we purchased. Unfortunately, faucet installed and sink mounted before we could know the fittings were not correct. If yours does not have the square tabs already on the faucet handle outputs and faucet body input, take it back right away.

The drain lever interferes with the tube coming out from the main faucet?
I spent a lot of fiddling with just getting the drain lever to work.
It is bent, so you have to find a happy place where you can pull it up and down,
while it hits stuff below?
