finish and color are great, works very well. installation was not easy just follow directions. you need to be able to do basic plumbing. I used pex for water supply and shower extention. instructions say not to use pex for tub drop line, not sure why, but I did use pex fittings.

My neighbor installed this product for me - but I unpacked it. I was shocked to find out that the tub spout and many of the other parts were solid brass and not cheap plastic. The shower head is a solid plastic composite. The product was compatible with the plumbing, but crooked pipes from a 50 year old install made it difficult. But he finally succeeded. He put an access panel into my adjacent room closet too. The only problem was the temperature limiter. He apparently did not know about this. A guest had a warm shower and then a week or so later I had a cool bath, so I did some detective work. Found out about the limiter, and my neighbor tried to adjust but failed. So I called DELTA and the woman at customer service said she could help ME do it. So she did!!! Removed handle with allen wrench, pulled the white cartridge toward me and turned it ALMOST all the way to the left....was able to push the white part back in when it settled into the last notch on the right. Handle back on - and VOILA! Hot water. It took two women who follow instructions and wear little closeup glasses to get 'er done.

Everything went together fairly easy. I had to hire a plumber to install the vale. That only cost me $97.00. Looks great with our remodeled bathroom.

The only problem with this faucet is we only are using the shower head and the water valves. You have to buy the tub faucet as it comes as a kit. It works great and is very stylish. I would recommend this faucet. We have purchased the bathroom sink faucets to match.

jpt1958 is incorrect that you have to buy an unused tub spout. I have recently redone a shower and a tub/shower. I used the delta porter in both, but I purchased the shower fixture and the tub/shower fixture for the projects. maybe their store only carries the tub/shower fixture, but the shower only is available.
as to the fixture[s], I had no problem installing. I put a 2x4 block even with the back of the studs
I used 1/2 inch cement board, 1/4 inch tile and applied thinset with a 1/2 inch notched trowel. the final position of the trim and handle was spot on. the mounting gives you some wiggle room if your wall thickness is a little different than mine.
I would caution you to pay attention to the instructions and DO NOT use pex from the valve to the tub spout. if you do you will have water flowing from the spout and dribbling from the shower head even with the diverter off. the pressure from the smaller inside diameter of pex will make the water back up and come out of the shower head. I didn't believe it on a previous install and had to go back and fix it.
I would also suggest using a copper elbow and not a threaded fitting for the spout. that allows for some play when you screw on the spout.
also, I have not noticed any issue with poor water pressure from these fixtures. I would guess that if water is dribbling out there is likely a problem with water pressure before it gets to the fixture.
all that said, I have a preference for delta. I installed a kohler for my mom's tub/shower and liked everything except that it wasn't as forgiving on the installation measurements.

Material and oil rubbed bronze color are right on.
Diverter installation was good, parts are labeled.
Was concerned with how the water pressure would be after reading other reviews, not really an issue for me personally. The stock setting on the rotational stop limit was ok, but i like my water hot so i had to adjust it.
Only gripe is the spacing of the handle. Not a functional failure just a cosmetic one. The escutcheon for the shower head arm was a bit tight to slide on, be careful it will scratch it.
