Just installed this toilet a week ago.
It does not secure well to the floor.
Not good for 100 year old tongue and groove floors.
Unlike traditional toilets you can't just tighten it to the floor.

Not sure about the video but instructions are included. There are 2 holes on each side. First you have to attach included white teflon L shaped pieces to the floor (toilet plate) and then seat the toilet down carefully. Once it is seated and plumb then screw the provided screws through the holes to the teflon pieces which holds the seat in place. the screws then get covered by provided silver covers.

The instructions that come with the toilet are pretty self-explanatory. There are clips that attach to the flange. Here's the link to the installation instructions, found on the Home Depot website on the product page.

We installed this toilet in our guest bath last year. It's a great toilet, and we've been happy with it.

The toilet seat seems to be wearing faster than expected, and I'd like to have a "spare" in case this one cracks or breaks. What part do I order?

Wanted to thank those who answered my question. I'm curious to see if a standard seat will install on the Riosa, so am going to check that option. I found I can purchase a replacement seat, but the cost is around $70 - sure seems high. Thanks again for the replies.

How to install a bidet on this toilet?

I bought a Swash 300 (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Brondell-Swash-300-Advanced-Bidet-Toilet-Seat-Elongated-in-White-S300-EW/203159333#customer_reviews) in Home Depot. But I found the size & shape of the pipe connecting to toilet tank does match the diamension of the T-valve that comes with bidet which matchs most normal toilet. It takes me several hours to search online to find out an alternative T-valve but can not. What do you suggest to solve this headache? Thanks.

If you cannot find a substitute t-valve, consider replacing the inlet valve with a dual outlet of the correct sizes. If necessary, they sell extensions for the Swash water line.

Hi,
Thank you for your question about the Riosa 2-Piece Elongated Toilet. The supply line to the toilet is a standard 3/8 in. connection. Your local hardware store may be able to assist you with finding an adaptor for the bidet, or contact the manufacture of the bidet for suggestions.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 162 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Clean I purchased this toilet mainly due to the smooth sides of the base - I DO NOT understand why the toilet manufacturers continue to make the base with the convoluted dirt trapping curves! Maybe because they never had to get down on their knees and clean one! I also love the stylishness, the quick, efficient and quiet flush/refill, and love, love, love the slowly self-closing ring and lid! The plumber at first found this confusing to install, but once he got at it, it went quickly. He noted that we may have trouble getting replacement parts other than online...I guess time will tell on that. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that it is not a particularly comfortable toilet! The space between the seat and the tank makes for a reclined position vs. the typical straight back support. This is our guest bath toilet, so no big deal on that. I just would not choose it to replace our master bath unit. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nicest toilet ever.... I did not install it but my contractor was pleased with the install, said it was quick simple. My wife loves the smooth side and says it should be easier to clean. Flushes are relatively quite and doe snot waste a lot of water. Overall we are very happy with the toilet. Consumer reports had it as one of the best. August 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by nice to clean but bad seat fastener design We purchased 2 of these and paid a professional plumber to install. The design keeps the toilet clean by concealing the bolts but the seat is poorly designed. The plastic fasteners for the seat does not tighten up. The plumber commented on the flaw in design. I tried to tighten it later. We had the second toilet installed by another plumber who said the same thing. Delta has apologized to other posts for not being happy with the seat. I would like to receive an alternate fastener that will keep the seat tightly secured to the toilet. I don't know if the loose fitting fasteners prevent too much torque from being transferred to the plastic L shaped fastener holding the toilet in place, but the seat does not get tight. The toilet flushes properly, but the seat moves around and is a nuisance every time you use the toilet. For this reason I would not recommend it. September 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, but Looks good, with modern clean lines. Flushes very well and is effective. Like the easy removal feature of the seat, but it attaches (the base of the lid, not the easy attach feature) weakly and at a slight angle. We've had it in use for two months and I'm not sure it will last. For now, it is holding, but it does NOT feel secure. Not what you want on something you sit on daily. July 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Install is a nightmare. I've installed dozens of toilets and this one is the worst. Plastic brackets that mount the toilet to the floor are not sufficient to hold down the toilet and keep it from rocking which will break the wax seal. The only thing keeping this from falling over is the silicone on the base. Do not buy. May 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good but..... I sure like the sleek look and how easy it is to clean. Unfortunately I agree with JDinTx about the seat shifting. I had my handyman tighten it and the next day it was what is apparently "back to normal". My biggest problem is that it constantly gets stopped up. Even just a little dog poo will pluck it. This time I have to have a plumber coming to unclog it. September 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Purchase at own risk. We bought this toilet mainly for it's looks. It looks nice and is easy to keep clean. Those are by far it's greatest features. I didn't have problems with the operation of the toilet, it worked fine, my biggest issue was installation. I've installed many toilets, usually a no brainer operation but this one is different. Due to it's design and large footprint you'll need a very level floor to mount it on or it will rock around. Mine required a couple shims in the back. The biggest problem was having it seal on the wax ring for any length of time. Since this toilet doesn't clamp down to the floor getting a good seal isn't always an easy thing to do. I've had mine in and out a few times now because of leaking. The last time I tried a couple different wax rings together and hopefully it's solved my problems. If it leaks again it's gone. October 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Check before you buy You have to check your flange prior to installing. The flange has to be centered as this is not a traditional toilet. This toilet uses a different mounting system. Take the old toilet off to ensure you have enough room on the flange to fit their brackets....again, this is not a normal installation. It is not difficult, but you need to ensure the flange is able to fit the brackets. I had issues. I installed two toilets, it was not difficult, just different. September 26, 2016
