Just installed this toilet a week ago.
It does not secure well to the floor.
Not good for 100 year old tongue and groove floors.
Unlike traditional toilets you can't just tighten it to the floor.

Not sure about the video but instructions are included. There are 2 holes on each side. First you have to attach included white teflon L shaped pieces to the floor (toilet plate) and then seat the toilet down carefully. Once it is seated and plumb then screw the provided screws through the holes to the teflon pieces which holds the seat in place. the screws then get covered by provided silver covers.

The instructions that come with the toilet are pretty self-explanatory. There are clips that attach to the flange. Here's the link to the installation instructions, found on the Home Depot website on the product page.

We installed this toilet in our guest bath last year. It's a great toilet, and we've been happy with it.

The toilet seat seems to be wearing faster than expected, and I'd like to have a "spare" in case this one cracks or breaks. What part do I order?

Wanted to thank those who answered my question. I'm curious to see if a standard seat will install on the Riosa, so am going to check that option. I found I can purchase a replacement seat, but the cost is around $70 - sure seems high. Thanks again for the replies.

How to install a bidet on this toilet?

I bought a Swash 300 (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Brondell-Swash-300-Advanced-Bidet-Toilet-Seat-Elongated-in-White-S300-EW/203159333#customer_reviews) in Home Depot. But I found the size & shape of the pipe connecting to toilet tank does match the diamension of the T-valve that comes with bidet which matchs most normal toilet. It takes me several hours to search online to find out an alternative T-valve but can not. What do you suggest to solve this headache? Thanks.

The Home Depot sells elongated bidet toilet seats - I expect these could be used on this toilet like any other. Do a search on their website for bidet and you should see at least 3 choices.

If you cannot find a substitute t-valve, consider replacing the inlet valve with a dual outlet of the correct sizes. If necessary, they sell extensions for the Swash water line.

Hi,
Thank you for your question about the Riosa 2-Piece Elongated Toilet. The supply line to the toilet is a standard 3/8 in. connection. Your local hardware store may be able to assist you with finding an adaptor for the bidet, or contact the manufacture of the bidet for suggestions.

Riosa 2-piece 1.28 GPF Elongated Toilet in White is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 168.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Clean I purchased this toilet mainly due to the smooth sides of the base - I DO NOT understand why the toilet manufacturers continue to make the base with the convoluted dirt trapping curves! Maybe because they never had to get down on their knees and clean one! I also love the stylishness, the quick, efficient and quiet flush/refill, and love, love, love the slowly self-closing ring and lid! The plumber at first found this confusing to install, but once he got at it, it went quickly. He noted that we may have trouble getting replacement parts other than online...I guess time will tell on that. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that it is not a particularly comfortable toilet! The space between the seat and the tank makes for a reclined position vs. the typical straight back support. This is our guest bath toilet, so no big deal on that. I just would not choose it to replace our master bath unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It broke in less than a month. I bought two of these toilets, I gave it two stars because one of the toilets is working, it works but the second one doesn't. The second one leaks water from the top and water goes into the bowl of the toilet. This causes the toilet to flush automatically and wast a lot of water. So our water bill takes a beating. I went to Home Depot to ask for someone to help us. They took a long time and told us to do something. So when we "fixed it" it did nothing. So I wen't back to the same place and they told me to go to Delta. This is very wrong! They are simply avoiding doing their own job! This made me vey angry! I am forced to say PLEASE help me, we can't afford to waste so much water. This cost me very much, it was a total of 239.00 without considering tax, EACH. It brought an astounding amount of 517.44. That is not considering the fact that our water bill went through the roof. It was also hard to build. would not recommend. please contact me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicest toilet ever.... I did not install it but my contractor was pleased with the install, said it was quick simple. My wife loves the smooth side and says it should be easier to clean. Flushes are relatively quite and doe snot waste a lot of water. Overall we are very happy with the toilet. Consumer reports had it as one of the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and easy-to-clean toilet Be careful, though. The product is wonderful IF you get everything you should. I put one of these in a bathroom, then a few months later chose to put one in another bathroom because we liked it so much. The second one, though, despite the fact I had an unopened box AND the fact the box claims it included, came without a wax ring. I had to make an emergency trip to get a wax ring for installation. Spouse and manchild like the fact the seat opening is long enough that manly bits don't get trapped.
Date published: 2016-09-11
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Install is a nightmare. I've installed dozens of toilets and this one is the worst. Plastic brackets that mount the toilet to the floor are not sufficient to hold down the toilet and keep it from rocking which will break the wax seal. The only thing keeping this from falling over is the silicone on the base. Do not buy.
Date published: 2016-05-04
Rated 2 out of 5 by from It works well, but the seat is very cheap and flimsy and cannot be replaced with standard toilet ... It works well, but the seat is very cheap and flimsy and cannot be replaced with standard toilet seats. If you are not a small person, you will break seats on this toilet often, my guess is monthly. Being that you have to buy a special seat from Delta that costs a minimum of $45, this will get expensive after a while. They look great. We have them in our new bathrooms with all new Delta plumbing fixtures throughout, but we are returning these and going with another brand for toilets. Delta should disclose that this is not a standard toilet seat and must be replaced with their own proprietary toilet seat that is overpriced and under-built.
Date published: 2016-11-27
Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS TOILET We are so disappointed with this product. We thought we were getting a quality item, especially since it cost substantially more than the other models we were considering. We were sold on the hidden trap design and the Delta name. But we've definitely changed our minds. In the few months we've had this toilet it clogs constantly. After trying all the usual remedies, we finally had to uninstall the toilet. We contacted Home Depot and were informed that there is nothing they can do for us because"the toilet has been used and is now considered a biohazard". They said that we have to contact Delta customer service and see if they will help us. Meanwhile, we are out $269.00 and don't have a working toilet. J &S

After reading hundreds of reviews on various toilets, I wasn't exactly sure if this toilet would work for me. As soon as we opened the box, my husband was impressed with all the accessories that came with the toilet to help remove the old toilet. It was a pleasant surprise. I am extremely happy with the skirt around the base as it makes cleaning around the toilet so much easier. As far as flushing is concerned, it is as described - a powerful flush. Based on reviewed, I didn't install the toilet seat that came with the toilet - I simply installed a soft closing seat that was recommended by other Home Depot customers.
