Can I purchase a replacement sprayer ?

Asked by: Jh
Hi Jh, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 472-DST does have the spray wand available as a separate part. The model number is RP32542. Thanks. Jody

what is the difference between delta 472 dst and 470 dst

Delta signature loop faucet versus delta signature faucet...what is the difference? When I compare both, it doesnt explain the 10 dollar price what does the loop version have instead?

Thanks for your question. The only difference between the two faucets is the loop handle on the 472-DST.

My favorite part of it is how it goes from spray to stream; LOVE the bar that moves side-to-side. I had a similar one for 15 years before the hose cracked. This hose is plastic vs. the old one was metal; I hope this holds up. The most disappointing thing about this faucet is the handle; it does not have a solid handle. There is a hollow loop in the handle that the picture does not show clearly. They really need a photo of the faucet from above. If I would have known that, I wouldn’t have ordered it. My efficient husband had it installed before I even saw it unpacked, or I would have returned it. I couldn’t bear to ask him to disassemble it. I guess I’ll have to get used to that handle, but it still bothers me after one month. The water goes from cold to hot very fast; it’s hard to keep at a mild warm. The spray pressure is not as forceful as my previous faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Facet no longer swivels I had my facet installed by a licensed plumber on 6/30/2011. I did like how the facet worked. But after only 6 years, the facet no longer swivels. It's now stationary in one position. While I called Delta and they happily supplied me with a replacement "O" ring which saved me a $1.50 purchase at the local hardware store, now I have to hire a plumber and pay him/her to replace it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks after seven months. Brand new house and after only seven months this faucet started leaking under the handle and out the spout. Luckily we were home and caught it early or the water leaking under the handle that went under the sink would have caused significant damage. No water to the kitchen sink until it can be repaired. Would not buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product has great features and works well. This product performs well. The only drawback is that the inlet pipes are too small which deduces the pressure. Do not make any smaller inlets [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After 7 years of gentle use: While I LOVE the functionality of this faucet, for the price, I would expect it to hold-up better than it has. Over the years, I've had problems with the wand's threading loosening from the water supply line. That was remedied by re-tightening it. This week (after 7 years of use) the wand completely pulled-out of the interface. (Broken) Not because it was forced, but because the o-rings around the wand's hose got stuck to the faucet body and prevented the hose from following the wand when the wand was pulled out for spray use. We were not hard on this faucet (no kids), so if you're tough on stuff, this is unlikely to last.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product is okay, but has issues. Reduced water flow. Hard to adjust water temperature - either too hot or too cold. Base does not turn smoothly. May be overpriced.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy installation, dismal spray hose, supply line limitations We replaced our Signature faucet with a new one (2016). Installation is a breeze; compared to the previous one (~16 years old), the main stem does no longer require a special tool to attach/remove. However, the spray hose is now made of plastic, as opposed to the old metal-braided version. That new hose kinks very easily, which affects and sometimes stops the water flow. The old metal hose unfortunately does not fit the new faucet, as far as I can see, anyway. I wish Delta would either offer a metal replacement hose, or switch back to using a metal-braided version. Personally, I think the issue is big enough to be worthwhile for a third company to offer a metal-braided replacement hose. I also believe Delta should have stayed with the usual way of connecting water to the faucet, i.e., let the customer choose the method., As it is, there are Pex lines molded into the assembly. I personally prefer metal-braided lines here as well, even if I have to purchase them myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good faucet until now. The faucet had been working very well but developed a very low flow rate all of a sudden. I pulled the strainer screen and found small bits of black rubber clogging the screen. I cleaned it out and reinstalled the strainer but the condition continues. I do not know how to disassemble the valve.
