Hi Jh,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 472-DST does have the spray wand available as a separate part. The model number is RP32542.

Thanks for your question. The only difference between the two faucets is the loop handle on the 472-DST.

Customer Reviews

Signature Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy installation, dismal spray hose, supply line limitations We replaced our Signature faucet with a new one (2016). Installation is a breeze; compared to the previous one (~16 years old), the main stem does no longer require a special tool to attach/remove. However, the spray hose is now made of plastic, as opposed to the old metal-braided version. That new hose kinks very easily, which affects and sometimes stops the water flow. The old metal hose unfortunately does not fit the new faucet, as far as I can see, anyway. I wish Delta would either offer a metal replacement hose, or switch back to using a metal-braided version. Personally, I think the issue is big enough to be worthwhile for a third company to offer a metal-braided replacement hose. I also believe Delta should have stayed with the usual way of connecting water to the faucet, i.e., let the customer choose the method., As it is, there are Pex lines molded into the assembly. I personally prefer metal-braided lines here as well, even if I have to purchase them myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good faucet until now. The faucet had been working very well but developed a very low flow rate all of a sudden. I pulled the strainer screen and found small bits of black rubber clogging the screen. I cleaned it out and reinstalled the strainer but the condition continues. I do not know how to disassemble the valve.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rpeated Leaks from Spout I 've replaced the cartridge twice in three years and even the entire faucet once and I still have leaks from the spout . Paid a premium for lifetime faucet for nothing. Chronic design issue exists.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product has nice features but unreliable. Our model (DST-473) in brushed stainless is no longer available but is almost identical to the DST-470. We had to replace the first faucet after it leaked while in the cradle and caused us thousands of dollars in wood floor repair. If you don't check the connection frequently, it is subject to loosening and unless you pull it out of the cradle often, you would never know it was leaking until it was too late. The insurance company required us to replace the entire faucet. Two days ago, we noticed water was dribbling out of the hose connection again. We constantly check for tightness, but somehow missed seeing that a plastic ring was totally broken away from the hose connection. It was the little ring that we tighten regularly. We immediately set up fans to dry under the sink and back wall opening. We discovered that it would require a new Quick-Connect Hose to stop the leaking, and we will need to call a plumber because it is a tight space and prefer a professional than ourselves. We've built this house 13 years ago, so each faucet averaged about 6-1/2 years. We were fearful of seeing floors warp again, but happy we caught it before it traveled through the walls. With this experience twice, we wonder whether we should just buy the hose or replace the entire faucet for a new style. Very disappointed in this Delta faucet. We have a total of 13 Delta faucets in our house and this is the only one that has caused problems and concerns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the faucet, somewhat disapointed in the performace Ok, I have very mixed feelings about this faucet. Starting with the good. I purchased this faucet 12.5 years ago when my home was first built. It came in the gold finish that I loved and it worked well for 11 years. There was always the issue of the warm setting, very hard to get it just right, but that was no deal breaker. I love the sleek design and the low bearing design of the instrument. I'm not crazy about the goose neck faucets. Then the hose started to not extend and then to leak. Delta replaced the hose and the leak issue was resolved. Then the main part of the faucet, the head, cracked. I even lived with that because I loved this faucet style and color. Shortly after the crack, I experienced a major flood in my home, originating under the kitchen sink, no fault of Delta faucet. Since I had to have the sink cabinet removed and replaced with brand new cabinetry, it was the right time to replace my beautiful gold faucet that was cracked. I called Delta and the customer service I received was superb!. I got the faucet replaced, same style....only they no longer carried the gold finish. (bummer). I selected the black finish which was fine since my kitchen appliances are black. Got the faucet, had it installed, and it worked fine for 2 months and 27 days. I was using the faucet and suddenly, the water would not turn off; kept streaming a low stream. Then, the nightmare of a flood under the sink again. The water was streaming from the hose under the sink and had built up a nice little flood before I realized it was leaking underneath the sink. Mind you, my sink cabin is brand new due to the recent house flood, and I did not want it to be damaged again. It was also leaking from the base of the faucet on top of the sink. I was leaving to go on vacation and did not have the luxury of time to get a plumber here, so the whole house water system was turned off until I returned. I'm back now, had a plumber out yesterday, and he confirmed the faucet is faulty. I am now in the process of trying to get the faucet replace...again...only this time, I will choose a new design. All in all, I loved the performance and the design of this faucet without incident, for nearly 12 years. I hope to continue my product relationship with Delta Faucets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After 7 years of gentle use: While I LOVE the functionality of this faucet, for the price, I would expect it to hold-up better than it has. Over the years, I've had problems with the wand's threading loosening from the water supply line. That was remedied by re-tightening it. This week (after 7 years of use) the wand completely pulled-out of the interface. (Broken) Not because it was forced, but because the o-rings around the wand's hose got stuck to the faucet body and prevented the hose from following the wand when the wand was pulled out for spray use. We were not hard on this faucet (no kids), so if you're tough on stuff, this is unlikely to last.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product is okay, but has issues. Reduced water flow. Hard to adjust water temperature - either too hot or too cold. Base does not turn smoothly. May be overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Better than Moen The 470-DST replaced a defective Moen faucet. I like the way it handle a lot better. When you select stream or spay it stays that way not dependent on pressure as the Moen did. The volume of water flow seems better even though they both had restrictors. The Delta just works better.
