Hi! Just bought this from homdepot.com and saw this post (from the Delta site that shows up here too).
"They (meaning Delta customer service) gave me advice and a tool to remove the old faucet." What sort of removal tool is being referenced here and how can I get a hold of one? Thanks!

I have this faucet without the base plate and the nut needs tightening under the sink. I cannot get anything to fit it in a deep socket and since I was not the installer originally, I do not have the original installation socket. The nut is loosening and needs to be tightened. Can you help?

I replaced the spring washers because of dripping, but now it still drips a little and I believe I am getting water coming out of the cap because water is seeping out between the lever handle and hub assy. Do I need a new Cam assy and does Home Depot sell these?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well and attractive I love this faucet. It works like a charm. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I had to replace it after 10 years because parts could not be repaired. I always buy Delta because the parts can be repaired. Of course at $300, t only cost me $30 per year! January 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by the original version was great, later versions flawed I've had (qty)four of this model of faucet over the years, and the original one, 15-18 years ago, was the best, and quality has gone downhill since then. For example, the later models replaced the pull-out hose with some fiber material (instead of metal). It has made the hose SO difficult pull out, and it literally takes two hands to get it back in. Sooo annoying on a daily basis. I was told it was a cost-saving measure. What a bummer. I'd pay more for a more functional faucet. Another later problem is that the white finish literally chipped off in CHUNKS. So, here I am again buying the same thing, and you may wonder why. I wonder too. But, it's basically because I love the look of it in my all-white kitchen. Wish that Delta would work on the quality control a bit more, though. I feel like I'm an expert on this faucet, having had 4 in the past 18 years. I've watched the quality go downhill quite a bit during that time. Sometimes, don't you just wish, as a consumer, that you could talk directly to the engineers/designers of items and let them know how their small changes or cost-saving measures have totally compromised the quality of an item? (check out the photo with the chunk of white missing from the base of the faucet. This happened about a year after it was installed. Also, see the fiber material for the pull-out. This used to be a flex metal, and was so easy to use. Now it just sticks constantly.) July 4, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Delta Faucet 470 WH DST received had a wrong part read my summary I received the box and noticed that the original Delta box had been already open before…I called my plumber. He removed my old faucet and started to install the new one… and when it was time for him to use the Escutcheon (the base plate) it was not for this model.. The hole was too small to fit the faucet assembly tube. Of course my kitchen now have no water! Of course I paid the time and trip of my plumber $200 … I ordered the part from home depot… That was a week ago… I don't have yet received the notification of Home Depot confirming the part is on its way… Nobody call me either for this delay. Next week if I don't have the part I will ask for money back.. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service I have all Delta faucets in my home that was built in 1999. Every time i have a problem i call Delta and they send me replacement parts free with no hassle. I realize things are made cheaper nowadays, but i have no worries about my Delta faucets. They are easy to work on, and can be done by the homeowner in most cases. The lifetime warranty is great. I have this faucett in white and am very pleased with the way it compliments my white kitchen, again that was built in 1999. There are several other companies that offer faucets, but they all seem to have problems nowadays with durability. So I'm staying with Delta, as i know they'll always be there, and I'll never have to buy another faucet....... What else could one ask for? June 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice Love the faucet. Only issue is that the water saving feature really keeps it from having stronger water pressure. This is with all new faucets now though due to regulations. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great faucet! So far, this faucet is good. Not quite as good as my last Delta faucet, but I am happy with it. I do think it was a bit overpriced for the quality. But considering that this style was my only option (because of the bar behind it, I could not use a faucet with the handle on the side), it works good. August 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing The faucet certainly looks nice, but the water pressure is terrible. There must be one of those low flow valves in it or else it just doesn't work well. I never before had a problem with pressure. Very disappointed. Also, there is a weight on the part of the hose under the cabinet that I guess is supposed to help the faucet replace itself after pulling it out. This weight gets caught on everything under the sink, including the shutoff valves and even broke one. It actually prevents me from pulling the faucet out more then an inch or two which is useless. If I need to get it out further I have to go under the sink and play around with it. Not user friendly. March 6, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking faucet Easy to install. Looks good and works without problems. June 2, 2016
