Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bwhairs Not 18" bar. It's a 19.5 " bar.
Bought to upgrade ild 18" bars in a bathroom with existing wallpaper. Because of the brackets these bars are actually 19.5 inches they won't work for me.

The product is well made and should last for years.
Ensuring you get the holes lined up are key to successful installation.

Looks great in my new bath and fits perfect in the space I had. The design matched my choice of my fixtures.

This line of towel bars are a real piece of... It's all about the mounting hardware and installation. Obviously you will not be able to get a secure bar with their design. What a pain to have to re-work their design. Time out of my day that I don't have time to spare. Don't bother buying these.

I needed a shorter bar to fit into a tight space and I was able to easily cut the bar to fit perfectly.

The towel rod is very attractive. At first it seemed easy to knock off the wall because of the way it attaches, but as I use it more, it seems quite stable.

The design of the "easy clips" is problematic because they cannot work with both an installation requiring wall anchors and an installation into studs flush to wallboard. The configuration of the clips which came with my towel bar resulted in wobbly supports when installed with wall anchors. The only way to get a tight installation against the wall was to remove the easy clips and bend the tabs with pliers. I was lucky and did not have to go through a lot of trial and error before the tabs held the supports appropriately. A set screw would be easier and would prevent upward dislodgement which can occur easily with this mounting hardware.
