I cannot get the towel bars to stay... the allen screws will not tighten to the circular metal disk that I screwed to the wall.

Hi Katie,
Make sure you back the screws out a little before putting the towel bar up to the metal disk. Make sure they don't protrude on the metal disk side. Also, there is a slanted area that needs to align with the set screw. Make sure you did not install the metal disk upside down.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not secure The mounting clips do not have a set screw or any type of securement other than hooks that rely on gravity alone to hold the bar on. This works fine unless you are intending to pull a towel upward off the bar. There is nothing holding the assembly down, so the bar and brackets go flying off when you pul a towel off too fast. Absolutely ridiculous! September 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Had high hopes... I had a had time keeping this rack on the wall. I was installing something else on the wall thinking that the towel rack was secure and somehow popped the rod off the wall by simply touching it. I don't want to have to be careful every time I remove a towel off the rack. In my opinion it shouldn't be that easy to remove a towel rack once it is installed. September 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It looks nice, but mounting hardware doesn't work The mounting hardware is easy to install but there is not tension to keep the end post held in place. The post came off when pulling the towel off the bar. Very poor design. I will not buy anything with the "Delta Easy Clip". July 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy This line of towel bars are a real piece of... It's all about the mounting hardware and installation. Obviously you will not be able to get a secure bar with their design. What a pain to have to re-work their design. Time out of my day that I don't have time to spare. Don't bother buying these. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Silverton Towel Bar The design of the "easy clips" is problematic because they cannot work with both an installation requiring wall anchors and an installation into studs flush to wallboard. The configuration of the clips which came with my towel bar resulted in wobbly supports when installed with wall anchors. The only way to get a tight installation against the wall was to remove the easy clips and bend the tabs with pliers. I was lucky and did not have to go through a lot of trial and error before the tabs held the supports appropriately. A set screw would be easier and would prevent upward dislodgement which can occur easily with this mounting hardware. October 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok if you modify the attachment system I've used this brand before and didn't realize I bought it again. The design is attractive but the supplied method of attachment is poor. Using the attachment system as it comes from the factory, the pieces tend to rattle around loose on the wall and can fall off easily. I found that if you bend the tabs that slide into the slots to be tighter AND use heavier duty wall anchors than they provide, you can get a good snug fit. If you're not willing to customize the installation in this way, you will not be happy with the product. December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a few drops of super glue... All the issues with the wobbly bar held true for me. I solved the issue by putting a drop of super glue (I used the gel kind), on each of the tabs. This solved the issue. It's odd, because everything else in this line stays quite secure against the wall on it's own. I gave it -1 star because I had to intervene with the solution on my own. Otherwise we are quite happy with it. November 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Delta Silverton Single Towel Bar Installation Problems This is a review of the installation of the Delta Silverton 24-inch single towel bar. The towel bar is branded as Delta but is actually made by a separate company, Liberty Hardware. The first problem I encountered is that the paper template provided was not accurate. While the template indicated a measurement of 25.5 inches for the distance between the centers of the mounting hardware on the wall, it actually measured somewhat less. I had to correct for this before drilling the holes in the wall. Fortunately, I checked the measurement before drilling the holes. The more significant problem is with the Easy-Clip system. Like several other reviewers, I could not get the clips to lock onto the mounting posts that hold the bar without bending the ends of the clips. I spoke to a customer service rep at Liberty Hardware to inquire if there was any correction for the problem I encountered. He suggested I try tapping the mounting post with a mallet. I tried that without success. He also offered to send me another set of Easy-Clips. After my efforts with the mallet did not work, I requested a second set of clips from Liberty Hardware which they sent. These clips were no better than the originals that came packaged with the bar. I used two sets of Vise-Grip pliers to bend the tips of the Easy-Clip. One set of pliers held the clip just below where the tip was angled. I used the other set of pliers to bend the tip. I then tried to slip the mounting post over the clip to see if it would provide some locking action. This process was done with the clips not mounted on the wall to avoid damaging the wall. It took several tries to get just the correct amount of bending so that the clip would provide some locking action with the mounting post. The process was done with both the left and right side of each clip and with the left and right mounting posts to get the desired locking action. I made sure that the clip I had altered for each mounting post was mounted on the corresponding side when I put the clip on the wall. Without this alteration of the clips, it was too easy to have the mounting post come off the clip if there was any upward movement on the bar when a towel was removed. We are keeping the towel bar, but do not recommend it because of the installation problems. I would have preferred an installation that used a small screw at the bottom of the mounting post to hold it in contact with the mounting plate on the wall. While these screws can loosen over time, the installation is much easier than what was required with the Easy-Clip system. The Easy-Clip system seems like a good idea that was badly executed.
