Answer:
I would say the look is most like my stainless steel appliances, maybe slightly darker. I do not feel it looks polished or reflective which, for me, is good because it doesn't show finger prints as much as the appliances do.

Answer:
Did not consider that since I am a righty, but looking at pipe I don't see why not. Under sink is flexible tubing so crossing the hot and cold is no problem. Outlet swivels 360. I am a DIYer so be sure to verify with guys at store.

the house was built in 1974 and has the original faucet but am worried the hole may be too small for the new faucets, there is no room to make it bigger.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16961-SSSD-DST needs to have a hole size from 1 5/16-1 1/2 inches so your holes should be fine. Included below is the spec sheet on the product.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great design and ease of use. I,vw had this product for 3 years and have had great results. Easy installation and quality product Delta provides excellent support. July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product - 3 years into it w/o issues After reading mixed reviews about this product, I decided to buy it for my remodeled kitchen. So far, and three years later, I still love this faucet. It still works like a champ and still looks great and practically new. Regarding other reviews that I read yes, after a while you have to get used to place the lever up and right in the middle for the faucet to completely close but that does not bother me. If you had a twisting valve, you have to twist it all the way otherwise it will not close. The dish washing soap dispenser does indeed feel a little funny, but it does WORK!!! February 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet! I am so glad to have this faucet! It looks good, was easy to install, and I can't believe how great it functions. OK, faucets only really have one function - but this one performs it well. The height allows me to easily fill or wash even the largest pots and it 'swings' flawlessly either between my double sinks or beyond the sinks, totally out of the way. It's also easy to turn on or off with the single lever. The best feature is the 'pull-OUT' design-rather than the 'pull-DOWN', which, after repeated use, may not always retract all the way and leaves the faucet head hanging. The included soap dispenser wasn't something I was looking for, but I find that I use it all the time. October 7, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not bad for price Good all-around faucet for the money. A little light in that there's no "click" when you push the handle closed so you can inadvertantly leave it on and then have to adjust it to the off position - you have to take a look. Maybe the handle just pushes too easily for hot, cold and off. But still a nice faucet. Someone should consider placing the handle on the left for right-handed people because the tendancy is to approach the faucet to turn it on with something already in your right hand, like a dirty dish or sponge. So your left hand crosses under the spout to flip it on and gets wet on the way back. If you do the dishes, you know this. But all these faucets are designed the same way - hello! Ask the dishwasher, not the CEO. December 26, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not purchase this faucet! I normally do not write reviews, but am hoping that my terrible experience with this faucet will prevent others from wasting their time and money. I initially bought this faucet and after a couple of months, the faucet would not shut off well unless the handle was in the exact position to stop the flow. Luckily, Home Depot took the faucet back since it was within the time period for their return policy. I then got a second faucet (the exact same model) and after a year, the faucet started having the same issue. This faucet is junk! January 20, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by In 4 months, we had to have parts repaired. Still not good. The design of this faucet was perfect for what we wanted for our Kitchen remodel. We love its design and operation, yet after four months it began to not shut off well. Operating the single-handle control became less functional and you had to be sure it was exactly at the correct position to stop flow. The plumber was unable to return it to original performance and the warranty only covers parts, not replacement. So how often do we want to repair it? Not long. We are going to a standard plumbing shop to find a higher quality faucet! November 24, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality product; rather expensive; reduced water flow Overall this is an excellent faucet. The supply hoses are fairly narrow diameter so the water flow through the faucet is less than the previous one. I did encounter an installation problem that is probably unique to me: my hot & cold supply connectors are different sizes due to a recent re-pipe of my house and I could not find an appropriate size adapter at Lowes, Home Depot, or Orchard supply. I ended up installing a separate 12" supply hose with proper sized end connectors between the faucet and my supply valve. December 6, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Kitchen Fixture But.... it's a little too high for my kitchen sink. That's why I gave it only four stars. However, it is a great faucet. Love the sprayer because it doesn't splash all over the outside of the sink like some sprayers do. Love that it swivels easily around the sink. My handyman, who installed it, said it was a great fixture. I'm going to be putting a laundry tub in my laundry room and may purchase another one of these fixtures for that. Because of it's height, it would work great for that. September 4, 2010
