My hard water has the delta spool assembly really stuck and the unit does not want to come out. What would you recommend to dissolve the hard water crust around the spool. The plastic front does not give a strong enough surface to undo the spool via force & wrench.

Answer:
Hi Ann,
Thank you for your question. We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem. We recommend soaking the cartridge in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to break up the mineral deposits. You will also want to call our toll free Homeowners/Warranty line at 1-800-345-3358 for additional assistance.
Thanks,
Dave
