Customer Questions & Answers

how high should pot filler be mounted above stove

Asked by: Anonymous
I mounted mine 8.5 inches above the stove surface, 8.5 inches below the microwave (which is above the stove) and 46 inches above the floor. Measurements are to the center of the pot filler threads. It is mounted above a free-standing all-in-one gas range. This position will clear a 9 inch tall, 12 quart, Reverware pot. The end of the filler clears by 3 inches. The center elbow clears by about 1.25 inches.

Using pex, what should i connect through the wall to set up for the potfiller, at what height from floor?

I'm building a new home and would like to put in a pot filler. What height off of the floor should I put the connection to the wall to mount the filler. I'm running pex tubing though the house, what connections should I set up. Would a standard 1/2" ear drop hook up to this filler?

We recently purchased the new dark stainless appliances, they are close to a charcoal grey. Is the Arctic Stainless dark similar to this? We have this potfiller currently in the brushed stainless in our current home and love it so much that we are putting another one in our new home! Thank you for your time!
Asked by: AS
Hi AS, Thank you for your question. Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend that is seen throughout the kitchen. It is somewhat lighter than Stainless Steel. Best regards, Jon

Traditional Wall-Mounted Potfiller in Stainless is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far it's great I've only had it a month, but the quality seems good and I love it. Valve handles are easy to adjust position so you can fold to either side without the handle hitting the wall, it doesn't drip, the finish matches my appliances perfectly, it has a fairly low profile so it does fit well, but it may not fit if you have a stove with a high back and a microwave over it so measure carefully first if you have both, you can side mount it, but then you will only reach half of the stove, I put a wood backing behind the Sheetrock because I don't think Sheetrock alone would have held the weight properly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Valve leaks after lesss than 10 uses I had my kitchen remodeled and was excited to have a pot filler. The ceramic valve cartridge nearest the wall leaked within 6 months (and only after 8 to 10 uses). The on-line parts list doesn't have the ceramic cartridge part number. So, I am stuck with a dripping pot filler or shut the water off completely until I figure out the cartridge part number.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed We built our new home and I knew I wanted a pot filler. I selected Delta Faucets because of my positive experience with Delta in my other home. I did my homework and intentionally selected a pot filler with double valve for safety measure to reduce leaks. I met with my plumber and he ordered the this pot filler. It looked great and I was proud of my new kitchen as we moved in April 2016. It is now September 2016 and the second valve (next to wall) is not shutting water off. I have used the pot filler less than 10 times so this is very disappointing this faucet does not last longer than a few months and after minimal use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product performs well The product hangs well and works smoothly. Flow of water is ample and easily controlled. Your price was very competitive. I would prefer that when both handles are in the "off" position, that they parallel the wall, since the upper one now touches the wall when it is in the "off" position. You provided a great many statistics, but one my contractor did not have was the top to bottom measurement with the lower handle in the off position. It would have been helpful to have that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my pot filler We remodeled our kitchen about 5 years ago and purchased a pot filler from Overstock.com. A few months ago it started to leak and we found out that we could not get it repaired as it was an off brand. Pot fillers are very expensive but we did find a Delta pot filler at HD and the price was pretty good. The new pot filler is installed and working perfectly and it is a much better product and it comes with a waranty. Yay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product My contractor actually convinced us to install a pot filler when we renovated last year. I did not know what a pot filler was. Since installing, I don't know how I cooked without one. It is absolutely great! Just wished my contractor had been better at placement on the wall. It is a little too low.
