I mounted mine 8.5 inches above the stove surface, 8.5 inches below the microwave (which is above the stove) and 46 inches above the floor. Measurements are to the center of the pot filler threads. It is mounted above a free-standing all-in-one gas range. This position will clear a 9 inch tall, 12 quart, Reverware pot. The end of the filler clears by 3 inches. The center elbow clears by about 1.25 Read More

Answer:
Thank you for your question. We do not have a height recommendation to mount pot fillers above the stove because it depends on too many factors like height of stove, height of cabinets and heights of pots to be used with the pot filler.

I'm building a new home and would like to put in a pot filler. What height off of the floor should I put the connection to the wall to mount the filler. I'm running pex tubing though the house, what connections should I set up. Would a standard 1/2" ear drop hook up to this filler?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the height of install for your Delta Faucet model # 1177LF-RB. It depends on your cabinet and your stove height. We do recommend a male threaded 1/2" iron pipe coming out of the wall to attach your faucet to correctly.

I have a 2 inch gap from wall to pot filler. Is there a spacer available to remedy the situation or do I need to hire someone to trim the pipe? Thank you. Mike

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Faucet This pot filler is high quality and would fit in a kitchen whether traditional or modern. If the in the wall plumbing is already in place, it is very easy to install. If a brass drop ear female elbow is anchored in the wall, you do not need to use the flange provided. You will just need the correct length pipe nipple. Attach the pipe nipple to the pot filler and screw the other end of the nipple into the brass elbow. This saved drilling into our tile back splash and possibly cracking the back splash. November 26, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Average Product I had have this faucet installed 3 months ago. This faucet looks really nice in our newly remodeled kitchen. It also worked great during the first two months. My wife recently noticed that one of the two locks has stopped working. The faucet doesn't leak but the second lock which prevents any accidents has stopped working. I am surprised that such a nice and costly product has such a short shelf life. I don't know if there is any solution to fix this problem!!! October 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Delta Makes Great Products I love the quality of this beautiful faucet. It is substantial, smooth, and a real looker. It was expensive, and a bit of a splurge for my remodel, but it does add alot of convenience. My contractor installed it relatively quickly, and he was impressed as well. June 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best new kitchen feature All pros, no cons. This pot filler was easy to install and easy to use. Can't think of a better addition to my new kitchen. June 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product My contractor actually convinced us to install a pot filler when we renovated last year. I did not know what a pot filler was. Since installing, I don't know how I cooked without one. It is absolutely great! Just wished my contractor had been better at placement on the wall. It is a little too low. June 13, 2012
