We have had this faucet less than a year, and have been very pleased until recently...the hot water handle now squeaks loudly when turned on and off. We took the handle off and sprayed it with WD40, and the squeak was better, but not gone, for a few days. The noise is so loud that guests have commented on it!

I purchased this item only 2 months ago and it looks great in my kitchen but that's all. Looks good -- functions bad. The left handle where the hot water flows squeaks so loud my wife can hear it on the opposite side of our house! Not to mention, the handle is wobbly and flimsy. The little screw that tightens the handle onto the valve is tightened but when I turn it on and off, the handle feels like its going to come off. This junk faucet is ending-up causing me to lose between $200-$300 since I had to pay a plumber to install it and now I have to pay the plumber again to remove it and install something else. Unbelievable! How can something guaranteed for life be such junk?
I have heard other people are having the same issue with the squeaking.
I want a totally new faucet or a full refund Delta!! Are you going to pay my plumber to uninstall and reinstall it again?? Do I really have to buy a $600.00 faucet to not have squeaky handles?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bbithead Expected More From "Delta"
I have had this faucet for about 6 months or so, and I would not purchase this faucet again. I'm very surprised it carries the "Delta" name, because I have other Delta's that are far above this one in quality for the cons I will mention. I guess Delta has joined other companies in the skimping on quality to save the buck.
Pros: Installation was normal/easy (I'm handy). Faucet looks nice.
Cons: From day 1, this is the slowest flowing faucet I have ever owned in my entire life (I read someone's review mentioning augmentation of the aerator, I will have to try myself). The handles/valve cartridges on this faucet are the the noisiest I have ever owned, it didn't start this way, but after about 3 months they always squeak turning on, and they always squeak turning off (I'm going to be replacing both valve cartridges just to see if that helps).

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by scjr Two months old and the hot water handle is squeaking
This is a nice looking faucet, but we should have researched the reviews. That's our mistake.
We've had it installed for just 2 months!
1. Hot water faucet handle squeaks, when turning on and off. (Loud squeak)
2. Silicone around the base as a precaution. Mine leaked at the base and some silicone took care of it.
For a faucet that looks so stylish, the squeaky hot water handle after just two months of ownership is a real disappointment. It doesn't leak, but the squeak is super annoying and loud. Reading a few of the other reviews, it appears this has happened to others as well.
Now we're stuck with the noise. We do not recommend. Lesson learned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ottis Great faucet
This faucet replaced a Moen single handle model that was a headache from day one. The looks are great and we like the function of the two handle faucet much better.
The moen was a pullout model that leaked from several different spots and needed almost constant work and observance.
This is a simpler design and I don't expect the many problems as with the last three Moen.
My wife likes it so well she said that it could be her present for her upcoming Birthday.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mtrelles Got what was expected
I gave this three stars, which is being gracious, for the following reasons. For a hundred buck price, this is to be expected. The quality is average (really below average) unless one wants to spend five hundred bucks on a kitchen faucet. The value is poor for the same reasons. First, the faucet comes with a soft plastic gasket which is placed under the faucet body between the body and top of the sink. It's slightly small as the flange around the gasket will not completely encompass the circumference of the faucet body. It's half inside and half outside. Next, The sprayer attachment which connects to the faucet body under the sink is held in place with a metal clip and sealed with an "O" ring. Look for a mess in the future if someone pulls too hard on the sprayer and snaps off the connection. Why a snap connection when a screw on connection has been used for decades escapes me, unless it is cheaper to make that way.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SM Wish I had read the reviews!
Purchased the faucet on Saturday - Home depot had no plumber to recommend for installation but was assured the installation would be easy. so hired a local handyman - 6 hours later, with having to replace broken parts, hoses, etc. he left. noticed a leak at the base of the faucet - so called a licensed plumber who replaced an o-ring on the faucet. that seemed to help. 2 days later, I look under the sink where I had placed a towel "just in case". It is soaked! The plumber says the faucet is defective - I should take it back and get a different faucet. My husband is disabled and I am mid-60 fixed incomes - cannot crawl under sinks. so far, besides the cost of the faucet, this project has cost almost $300 and I still don't have a kitchen faucet I can rely on to hold water! Wish I had read all those reviews before buying this. we are not happy
