Hi, Has the apparent problem or design flaw with the set screws, for the 35706LF Delta Faucet (Store SKU 981-688), been corrected? Please read the several reviews about this Delta product, to see what I am referring to. It seems that the screws are not long enough, and they may also break easily. Thank you!

Answer:
I haven't had any issues with the screws. I think some folks might have issues tightening the set screws using a traditional itty bitty allen wrench. I used a larger handle allen wrench and haven't had any issues with the handles coming off.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 35706LF needs to have the base rings threaded down completely prior to mounting to the vanity. By doing this, it allows the set screw to fully engage the stem once it is installed. In the future, this faucet will have the handles already installed onto the valves, thus alleviating this issue.

Hard to get it so it would work smoothly, gave up just put in ,hard to make it move up or down. the linkage is to big. Also there is nothing that tells you which side of sink handles go on, they work either way but one way the off is facing in to the sink and the other is the handles face away from the sink. Facet looks nice after installed.

Faucet operates smoothly with minimum of effort, and looks very good. Because of existing holes, I installed mine at closer than 8" spread and it's still great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful but broken I purchased this faucet for my newly renovated guest bathroom. It looks beautiful. I especially love the high arch of the faucet and the slanted angle at which the water comes out. Unfortunately, less than two months after being installed, this faucet is broken. The hot water handle comes completely off (the set screw design is flawed, the screw does not hold the handle in place) and the cold water handle squeaks and is difficult to turn on and off. It seems like it's about to fall off too. Now I have to select a new faucet, have my plumber come back to the house to swap it out, and hope I can return this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Design! I just purchased this faucet. I am a residential builder and have installed hundreds of faucets. Went to put the handles on a pedestal sink and the set screws do not hit the stems. Threw the whole thing back into the box to return (at least the drain wasn't in yet!) Pretty faucet...but pretty useless. What a waste of my time. I am going to insist that my Home Depot takes them off the shelves...they are garbage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We are very happy with the look of the faucets. The drain hookup is a mess and it still leaks. We are probably going to have to call a plumber for a job my husband has always done in the past. Were it not for this the rating would be much better. The hookups were not the same as shown on the back of the box and the hoses block the horizontal lever stopper. We are very disappointed.
