I have the opportunity to get a bowl/top just like this from a remodel, what is the best way to transport? Is it possible to sit on the bowl at all and rest on one of the sides?

Hi Lori,
The key is to have the top avoid as many scratches as possible.
With that said, it's always good to transport it with the top facing up, and plenty of packing materials (if it isn't in a box, although it should be) to ensure it won't get damaged.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Top did not fit 24"x18" vanity First off the Vanity Cabinet that I bought is 24" x 18" (This is a very nice vanity top) the problem with it is that the sink itself is 18" from the wall to the front leaving no room to put it in the cabinet. I love it and was very disappointed it did not fit. Im on a search for another one. Had to return this after waiting 1 week for delivery. May 1, 2013
