Typical locksets are designed to fit doors up to 1-3/4 in. thickness, this extension kit allows you to work around that issue and install your entry lockset and have it then function perfectly. Kit is compactable with all Design House keyed entry knob and lever models.

You've addressed the issue of the tie bolts, but not the spindle--do you have a spindle extender?

Hi and thanks for your question. The spindle of any Design House lockset is designed to work with all doors up to 2 1/4 in. thick, so would match up with the Design House #792929 Entry Knob or Lever Thick Door Extension Kit for that purpose. We don't offer any extention kits or spindles for doors thicker than 2 1/4 inches at this time.
