This unit at Home Depot states that it accepts c-base bulbs. The same unit at Amazon states that it accepts candelabra bulbs. Which is it?

Answer:
This question is no longer relevant. The website for this product states that the bulb sockets are candelabra. I have located a company that sells screw-in adapters that convert candelabra sockets to c-base.

Millbridge 52 in. Oil-Rubbed Bronze Hugger Ceiling Fan is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy! Searched more than 1,000 fans online looking for a flush mount rubbed bronze with five blades and a light with white or clear globes. This fan was the perfect choice at a moderate price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking fan, but some issues We put in our first Millbridge 52 inch hugger fan, and noted that the motor was fairly quiet on high setting. One of the screws to the light wire housing does not work right (screw hole milled incorrectly?), but did not impede completing installation. My main issue was when we ordered two additional units (same model/color), and noticed that the fan motors were too loud. We returned these items. Though we do not know for sure, it seems that these two fans had already been purchased and returned before. We then decided to go with another fan (Hunter Oakhurst), which is quieter, even compared to our first Millbridge fan which works OK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They have better fans in store than this one......... Uses poopy little chandelier bulbs......It was hard to know this from the online description....took this one back to the store.....also the lighting kit appeared to be a pain in the neck to attach.....there are other fan brands that are plug and play. Cant really give it a fair review because i took it back.....Im buying a fan with a lighting kit to actually light a room up...not as a decoration or accent lamp. I wish there were more hugger fans that used normal bulbs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy installation This was a replacement of a ceiling fan that was nearly 30 years old and still worked very well. The pull cord mechanism had broken and, because of its age, couldn't be replaced. So, the new fan needed to be as good and have a similar look and feel. While the blade holders aren't as solid or robust as the old one, and the washers used to cushion the blade and holder together are just paper, it is very quiet and serves our purposes well. Only time will tell if I'll get the 28 and a half years of great use with this one as I did the original. Either way the price was great, less than a third of what I paid all those years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from satified with this purchase Only problem with the installation was a few screws that must be taken out for the install were factory installed so tight it was really tough to crack them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect color for my living room! The performance is wonderful. I control the speed. I love that I also purchased the Westinghouse Chrome and Black Ceramic Pull Chain. The perfect match.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product is not worth the money very dissapointed. for the price, very cheaply made. The light sockets smaller than usual 1 has already cracked. If it wasn't such a pain to install I would return.
