Product Overview

Designed to be environmentally friendly, the Designers Edge L2006 65-Watt Fluorescent 360-Degree Portable Work Light is as efficient as it is rugged. Made of polymeric material with a green finish, this work light comes with one 65-Watt fluorescent bulb, nonskid footing and a 3-pronged grounded outlet. These bulbs produce the equivalent of 300-Watt of incandescent lighting, yet last longer than halogen bulbs. The adjustable design allows the light to position at various angles allowing 180-degree adjustments and lights 360 degrees around the reflector. Adding to its durability, a weatherproof on/off switch, 5 ft. polarized cord and wall mount are included. This light comes with a limited lifetime warranty and is CSA listed in US and CA.

Customer Reviews

65-Watt Fluorescent 360 Degree Worklight is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light! My husband and I have a Mom/Pop interior painting business. This light is the best one we have ever found. No color aberrations, it's like painting in natural daylight. No heat, econmical to run and easy to spread out in work area. We bought 3 and that is very adequate in even large rooms, Easy to drag along while painting trim behind furniture in private homes. It folds compactly and I'm ordering more so we have can have enough to leave on more than one job site. Small enough to set on step ladder shelf. Without the extreme heat of the halogen, we don't have to worry about fire danger. Home Depot should put these in the store, they would sell well.

Mounted above the door, it lights up the area beautifully. I left the wire unfastened to the wall so I can move the light to a little shelf/workbench if I need to. Overall, I'm very happy with the light it provides and the versatility it affords.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BULBS BREAK That is my review written in March, 2012. A big problem has arisen in that the bulbs break or burn out very easily. The original bulbs are too tall and the replacements I bought are still unstable even though shorter. The replacement cost is high, $17. locally for a lower wattage than the original. Out of 6 lights ( one of which was demolished just from tipping over) I have one original bulb and have replaced 2 bulbs twice. Very expensive. Too bad, the concept is good but the engineering is terrible.
