Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GENERAL MGR THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT. I HAD TRIED THE JACKHAMMER AND IT DID NOT TOUCH IT. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thought it was a dud but waited the full 24 hrs and it worked like a dream!! Love this stuff; saved me hours of work. I only used a 1 and quarter inch drill with holes 16 inches deep and 10 inches apart and it still did the job on old steps. Called their support line too and the guy at the end of the phone could not have been more helpful. Love this product and love this company.Hats off to you. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WORKED GREAT!!! After having a contractor stump and level my yard 2 rocks poking through the ground surface so I dug them up and found they were quite large. I believe they were red granite rocks. I visited the Home Depot tool rental office and an employee told me to try Dexpan. So I rented a rotary hammer drill and ordered a bucket of this. Drilled a bunch of holes all over the rocks and when the Dexpan came in I mixed it up and put it in the holes. It took a couple days for the cracks to become visible but some of them opened to almost 1/4" or larger. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to remove rocks or demo concrete without having to rent a jackhammer. December 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Broke apart a 2'X2'X3" Chimey foundation Had tried everything to remove this block of concrete. The product worked as advertised. Make sure you follow all of the instructions such as cleaning out the bore holes and stirring the slurry in the hole as you pour it in. I did not do this on the first pour and nothing happend. With clean holes and making sure the product made it to the bottom of the pour, my next result was great. Also make sure there are no obstructions arround the outside perimeter. These also negatively impact your results. April 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Limestone buster Was trying to plant a row of shrubbery across the rear or our property when I ran into a large limestone ridge. Considered many other ways to remove the offending rock, but access was an issue. Wife pointed me in this direction. Drilling 1.5in. Holes in limestone is a horrible job. Took me 8 hours to drill 15 holes. Poured the grout in and waited for magic. It didn't happen. So, added additional water after 2 days and it worked! Have ordered a second pail of Dexpan and will finished off the rock this weekend. November 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It works I had a concrete slab that was so hard and tough that I couldn't break it up with my 35# demo hammer. I ordered a bucket of Dexpan, drilled some holes in the slab and placed it per instructions. It took over 24 hours for it to do the job but when it did, it did it well. My slab is in many small pieces and easy to remove. It's the next best thing to blasting. Maybe not as fast or satisfying as an explosion, but just as effective and easier on the neighbors. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked Like It Said. Have used this product several times and has worked very well. November 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Think before you buy. We had a rock about the size of a Smartcar. We drilled holes for days, filled the holes with the material. About 48hours later 1/4 inch cracks appeared. Using an excavator we removed large chunks of rock. That sounds like the good news but there was more rock below the exposed section. This additional challenge would have caused us to drill for days more, await the delivery of Dexpan, and then another 48 hours. I put that at almost 10 days. So yes the stuff works but for the home owner at great work expense and delay. Can you say DYNAMITE? May 19, 2015
