Needed this bit for recessing hinges on furniture, easy to see guide tip, very clean boring, as a hardcore Milwaukee user i was very pleased with the Diablo bit.

This bit will take large curls in poplar, unlike the shavings and chips produced by lesser bits. I threw away the bit and jig made by the hinge manufacturer.
I made a jig by drilling 1/4" deep with this bit in hardwood, then used a router with a bearing guided flush bit to ensure the hole was square the whole way through. Excellent results followed.

I am a novice wood worker who is learning about cabinet building. I wanted to use European hinges for my second cabinet building experience but needed a tool/jig to create the 35 mm circular hole in the cabinet door to install the hinges. This Forstner bit was exactly what I needed. Used in my drill press, it worked perfectly for me. It was very reasonably priced and produced high quality results to meet my needs.

I needed to transform an Ikea drawer front into a cabinet door.
This tool is the perfect tool to create the pocket that receives the hinge.
The tool is sharp and works perfectly at low speed on my cordless Bosh drill.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by POOR Absolutely useless they better let me return it
This bit is commonly used to drill for euro hinges, which you should be able to do with a milwaukee m18 impact drill. NOOOOO. I was drilling into some kind of pressed paper cabinet, wound up throwing all my weight on it, and got not one hole drilled deep enough after 30 minutes. Now my neck hurts. I can't hang 30 doors with this, it's a ripoff. I'm angry. And it was the only single bit they carried in this size in the store.
