I plan to make a lot of cabinet doors and want to buy a drill press instead of using my hand held drill like I usually do. But, I want to get on that has plenty of power.

Answer:
We do not recommend using a forstner bit to cut polypropylene as it may met the material. Unfortunately we do not offer another accessory that can be used to cut the polypropylene.

Answer:
The max RPM usage for the forstner bit is much lower than the operating RPM for a plunge router. We would not suggest using a forstner bit in the router due to safety concerns.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cabinet Forstner Butter, was able to drill all 17 doors with 2 hinges. Highly recommend. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality and Value I am a novice wood worker who is learning about cabinet building. I wanted to use European hinges for my second cabinet building experience but needed a tool/jig to create the 35 mm circular hole in the cabinet door to install the hinges. This Forstner bit was exactly what I needed. Used in my drill press, it worked perfectly for me. It was very reasonably priced and produced high quality results to meet my needs. February 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drawer front modification I needed to transform an Ikea drawer front into a cabinet door. This tool is the perfect tool to create the pocket that receives the hinge. The tool is sharp and works perfectly at low speed on my cordless Bosh drill. July 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Does the job .. No regrets on this purchase have made many cabinet using this drill bit. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean holes This drill bit is the way to go if you need a nice clean hole. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hidden Euro hinges Did exactly what I needed it to do. I have never made cabinet doors before nor have I ever tried to install hidden hinges. This bit made it very easy to drill out the wholes and install the hinges. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well on 5/8 stock I use this bit mostly for european style cabinet hinges which require a 13mm deep pocket. Cheaper bits I've used in the past have a deeper stub which means they penetrate all the way through and leave a hole in the opposite side of 5/8 MDF. This bit, with its smaller stub works perfectly. September 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely useless they better let me return it This bit is commonly used to drill for euro hinges, which you should be able to do with a milwaukee m18 impact drill. NOOOOO. I was drilling into some kind of pressed paper cabinet, wound up throwing all my weight on it, and got not one hole drilled deep enough after 30 minutes. Now my neck hurts. I can't hang 30 doors with this, it's a ripoff. I'm angry. And it was the only single bit they carried in this size in the store. April 4, 2014
