Answer:
Hi, Georgia - The blade thickness for one of the DS0905FG5 is 1.25mm or .05”. With the standard throw on a reciprocating saw at approximately 1” the average cutting capacity for a 9” recip blade will be approximately 7.5”, which should be more than enough to cut a 5” branch

Answer:
Blade is about 3/16 thick material and blade is about 1/2 inch by 9 inches long, it will easily cut a 5 inch branch, i have used on larger than that with no issues, cuts fast and unless you get into metal or concrete it stays sharp a long time even on wet woods.

this blade is pretty rugged. It will go through most anything. With thin fiberglass it may tear more than cut.

Answer:
Based on the photographs of P-C blades, it appears that the blade brands are the same size where they attach to the saw. You can take a P-C blade into the store and compare with these as a double check.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 79 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rugged A great blade for sawing through limbs and roots. it even goes through dirt and rocks. October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Diablo prunning blades 9" Used 1 blade in heavy duty pruning and the blade continues to cut very well and is still sharp. I have not changed blades as it continues to cut through tree limbs up to 6" in diameter. I am really pleased with the performance of the blade. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked very well Was easier to use the recipicating saw to trim the large trees in the back yard then dealing with the chain saw. These blades did and excellent job. I only went threw two blades all day and it was my fault for breaking the first blad. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ridiculous Performance!!! These things will cut thru any branch you can get them around! I trimmed a very large arborvitae in my back yard with ease, even some oak branches. Larger branches take some time to get thru but it makes it thru them eventually every time. This was alot cheaper than a chainsaw and got the job done for me. I highly recommend, they turned my Makita reciprocating saw into a tree monster! April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great I use it with a Dewalt 20v cordless. The blade cuts thru branches and small trees with ease. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great blades that cut in both stroke directions. These Diablo blades cut fast and smooth. I use them to de-limb logs for my wood pile and they also work great as a back-up to my electric chainsaw for cutting smaller logs. They cut through large logs also, I 've cut up to 12" logs with these blades, but a chainsaw is much faster for that purpose. We heat our house solely with wood and use it for most of our cooking too so we use a lot of wood. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PRUNING WAS EASY This blade made pruning so easy when used with my cordless reciprocating saw. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw Blade Blades are truly remarkable.. Used them to saw off/remove Bald Cyprus roots/knuckles in the lawn. Blades in the dirts while sawing off the roots, did not even hamper cutting ability of the blades. Much better and longer lasting as compared to a chainsaw blade. August 9, 2016
