Answer:
Undoubtedly your project is done by now, but...
It will, and will be fine for 2-3 cuts, but there is actually a 84 tooth Diablo blade with a negative hook angle that is made specifically for composite materials and it does a much nicer job on that material. If you are going to do a whole floor, I'd recommend that instead.

This is not the same saw blade used on laminate flooring. There is a special blade for laminate made by Freud and is sold at Home Depot. Cost is a bit higher but why get chips in you cross cuts from saving a few dollars

I think it will. It's a very fine toothed blade. Try it first on a piece of laminate you can afford to lose and get a feel for how to feed the material into the blade and how you have to clamp down or support the material to be cut. You didn't say whether the cuts will be visible on concealed under molding, etc. Some cuts in laminate are best done with a small router. So the suitability of the saw blade Read More

Answer:
I would certainly think so. As you know, laminate is harder on blades than plain wood but I'm sure this blade will produce very smooth cuts and should not result in chipping.

Answer:
Yes, this blade will work on laminate flooring; however it was not designed for this application. For maximum cutting life, we recommend using the Diablo 12 in. x 96 Tooth Laminate/Non-Ferrous Metal Saw Blade (D1296L).

Answer:
12" mitre saw for vinyl floor planks? A lil overkill don't you all think? You can just score them with a utility knife and straight edge and they snap right apart. Apply a lil heat to the back with a propane torch for cutting out angles.

Answer:
Freud makes a special blade that cuts laminates and plastics. They also make blades that cut soft metals like aluminum and copper. All the blades look like wood cutting blades but be carful to buy the one specific to your needs. The blades that I buy by Freud are wood only with minimum 60 tooth and up to 80 tooth for both 10 & 12" saws

Answer:
Hi, jkingiv - The arbor should be 1” or you will need a reduction ring. Also, the RPMs of the machine should be lower than the max RPMs marked on the blade. Beside this, if the blade can be mounted correctly on the saw, we do not see any issues.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Quick to dull I have been pleased with prior purchases of Diablo blades. This is one that I will be returning today. After only a a few cuts the blade is beginning to burn through the cut. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw Blade Over the past 7 years I have become a wood working hobbyist and used many different products before using Diablo products which are great. This blade makes a much cleaner cuts and smoother cuts July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best I have ever used. When ever I buy a new power saw, I don't even use the original blades I just replace them with Diabole blades. A saw is no better then the blade you are using. June 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fair blade Not as good as the ones you can get online and from lumber yards but the price reflects that. Blades don't last nearly as long as the frued line. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent saw blade Excellent Saw Blade for a fair price. No complaints. May 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent blade for the price This is probably a fine blade for the average homeowner. I'm probably not the average homeowner though. I do a LOT of woodworking and bought/used this blade when my Forrest blade went in for a sharpening after a number of years. I was in the middle of installing Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring when I bought this. Well, 2 rooms of really hard cherry and this blade is ready to be sharpened already. Either the carbide wasn't that awesome, or what I'm cutting is just super tough on this thing, but I'm a bit disappointed that 1 month of ownership and it needs sharpening already. I would also say that the blade itself is fairly thin, so I wonder if it will warp easily if it generates enough heat. It did seem to run true when I installed it. Only time will tell. As for now, I'm back to my original Forrest blade. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Diablo 12" finish circular saw blade The blade cuts clean and smooth. Currently being used to install crown molding. No nicks or chips and the blade is well balanced March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great blade Haven't installed it yet on my own saw, but I use one at work and it convinced me I need one. March 25, 2016
