I needed a saw to cut Hardie Board so I went on Home Depot and found a blade (WHAT A GREAT SAW) cuts like butter and and the blade is so narrow that will cut as a very thin line. Also you will get less dust from the blade. I also used the blade on my table saw. I will have to purchase another blade so I wont have to keeping changing blades. For what you pay for the blade is worth the price.

I have been the old school way of thought throughout my life and do not try and change from the things that are tried and true in my book. I typically score and break these boards but you obviously get a rough edge. This hasn't been a problem when you have large areas but I ran into a unique situation where I had to make sub-2 inch cuts. This isn't the easiest to break and can take forever to score. I invested into this blade and I've not gone back. The blade gives you an incredibly straight cut and you really can't beat it. Tips: - When cutting backer board make sure to wear a respirator of some type. I find the operation of cutting the board to output a significant amount of particles into the air and get into your lungs & nose. - Do not try and use a regular saw blade of any type of you're going to need to replace it halfway through a board

I have old B&D small circular saw that is 6.5" I Can't find the blades that side with the correct arbor hole size this blade was smaller but had the right arbor size. I used it to cut some asbestos shingles [ i wore a mask] so i could install a new window in my garage. cut fine making a lot of dust though as blade was thicker then I would have like

It is expensive not sure why as it only has 4 teeth. It does kick up some dust so make sure you wear a mask and also eye protection as the saw I was using vented the dust up towards my face and made it difficult to see without eye protection.

Very pleased; made long rip cut w/ an angle using regular 7 1/4 circular saw. Cut clean and smooth w/ little resistance. Felt similar to using a plywood blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut like butter I had to rip several pieces of Hardie trim boards. I was put off by the cost of this blade but needed my cuts to be perfect so reluctantly acquiesced. The blade cut the cement boards like butter! Also produced very little dust. Well worth every penny spent.
