Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Raven Much better than expected, great for composite, also good general blade
Nothing like a new saw blade and 84 teeth make this one cut real smooth. Made for composite decking which it easily slices like butter. Blade changing on my compound saws is a pain so decided to give it a try on chopping some 2x6 fir which it handled with ease. This is a great blade for any composite deck project, appears it will last a good long while if not too abused with other materials. Sure it would cut hard woods too but I know that would wear it out more quickly so will keep this beauty for composite, pine and fir as intended. That way I can enjoy that smooth slice of cutting heaven that much longerwithn this excellent preforming blade.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Worked well on everything I tried
I just completed a deck refurbishing using this blade on my DeWalt CMS, I'm far too lazy to swap blades when cutting different materials so I decided this would be a good torture test. Cellular PVC, pressure treated 4x4's, 1" by pine, 2" by spruce, aluminum flashing and even a hidden nail or two all cut cleanly, with no smoke, no problems and no apparent damage to the blade. I do make it a general rule to cut slowly rather than chop through material and to wax my blades with paste car wax to cut down on friction as I did with this one. I'm pleased with the performance of this blade and will continue to use it until it eventually wears out.

Would have rated 5 stars but does not clear cuttings well and can deform slightly causing an irregular cut if you plunge too fast into Trex decking. This was with a compound miter saw and once cut was through the board and chips could clear, it would cut beautifully and quickly. If cutting speed is important, recommend a sliding compound saw, I suspect it would cut composite decking much more easily and efficiently since blade wouldn't load up from having to lift material from the cut.
The non-stick coating appears to actually work with no plastic build up on the blade after several hundred cuts through Trex Transcends decking.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doresoom Smooth cuts on wood and plastic!
This blade is a great improvement over the 32 tooth stock blade that came with my miter saw. With this 84 tooth blade, I get super smooth cuts on any material. I've used it on pine, treated lumber, and PVC so far with awesome results. The PVC didn't burn or tear out at all, and I barely even had to de-burr it afterwards. The finish on the blade still looks new as well, even after making dozens of cuts. I plan on using this as my default blade from now on since it's so versatile.
The only thing you may have to get used to is cutting a little slower. If you're framing and don't care about tear-out, you may want to stick with a blade with fewer teeth since you can't just slam the blade down with a high tooth count blade.

I bought this blade to cut a piece of 6" acrylic tubing The design of the carbide really made a difference in the cutting, "very smooth". It cut it with no problem no chips and no burn marks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dhansen Great smooth cutting blade. Does not chip the trex at all
The blade is a little pricey, but It makes a smooth clean cut. I would not do the job without blade.
