I used this on several pieces from birch plywood to cedar and it meets my expectations. I build a lot of wall hanging arts and crafts pieces and this tool works great. I don't use it every day but I have cut about 12 holes with it and I am impressed with the tool. We will see how it holds up over time. I am pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect A little spendy but as far as performance this bit worked great. I have been using it for a while now and see little wear or indication that it won't last for a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works very well Does exactly what it is supposed to do, no problems with it at all. You can certainly find cheaper ones online but from what I have learned that is normally exactly what they are CHEAPER... Cut smooth, little to no kick, easy to control while cutting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bit After trying and breaking Skil bit (my fault) that made a decent job, I bought Bosch bit (Skil's parent company BTW) and it was just horrible - extremely hard to control when making holes in oak. Got Diablo - man, it's simply perfect! Skil and Bosch both got just one top cutter, this one got two - cuts holes in hard wood like in butter while keeping a good balance.
