Not sure, it all depends on what type of surface the sander has on the bottom. It must have a Velcro type surface.

The Mouse sander has a Velcro so the pad can stick to it. The pad is a little bit bigger but don't worry about it. It doesn't change the efficiency.

Hook and Lock means that the pad has a Velcro backing and to install, you just take the pad and press firmly on to your mouse sander. It is a great product and easy to use.

Not sure what you mean "how do you put on a sander" so I'll skip that question. "Hook & Lock" is the generic term for Velcro. Velcro is a registered trademarked product. All "Hook & Lock" products are NOT NECESSARILY Velcro.

A hook n lock has levers on both sides of your sander, easy lift and retrieve or dispose of. If you do not have these levers, your sander is not compatible with this style sanding paper

Your sander should have a "Velcro like" backing and the sanding sheet has the same type of backing, you just press the sanding sheet hard against your sanding machine and the sheet stocks on.

Hook and lock is another word for hook and loop which is Velcro style fastening system you can put on the sand paper and take it off as needed and then you can reapply it again, compared to the stick on version which once you apply it and take it off you need to dispose of the sand paper.
Hook-and-loop fasteners, hook-and-pile fasteners, or touch fasteners (colloquially known as Velcro) consist of two components: typically, two lineal fabric strips (or, alternatively, round "dots" or squares) which are attached (e.g., sewn, adhered, etc.) to the opposing surfaces to be fastened. The first component features tiny hooks; the second features even smaller and "hairier" loops. When the two components are pressed together, the hooks catch in the loops and the two pieces fasten or bind temporarily during the time that they are pressed together.[4] When separated, by pulling or peeling the two surfaces apart, the strips make a distinctive "ripping" sound. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best sanding tool ever ! Makes the job so much easier. This sandpaper which adheres nicely to the sander, made the job so much easier to handle. The paper is strong and doesn't wear off easily, so you get a lot of use from each piece. We used it to remove old wallpaper glue, patched up holes, uneven and rough areas of the wall, and it did a great job wherever we worked. My grandson did a lot of the work, and he said that it was more of a fun job, than a hard one. It's a great product, and my grandkids bought me more paper for Father's Day !!!! June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I was skeptical at first because I wanted to use the original that goes with the Mouse Sm600 but I needed to finish my project and the sheets were no where to be found other than Ebay. I took a chance and it did the job. It goes a long way with one pad. Don't worry the dust still going in the container but may be not as much that if you had the Black and Decker one but at that point I didn't really care!!!! My house needed a good scrub anyway! October 30, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not too good October 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not satisfied The pad is made to fit two sizes of pads. My fault I did not totally read the features on the box, had I done so I would not have purchased the product. The Pad is designed to split in half. When left together under heavy use the pad starts to break up and becomes useless. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy sandpaper Solidly attaches to my palm sander and doesn't slip. It's a little pricy. September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mouse sand paper Very good quality and very resilient, long lasting sandpaper. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I waited too long to buy this sander. I have a Makita orbital sander but it is heavy and doesn't get into small places. The 'mouse' is light weight but powerful. Haven't figured out how to attach the extra tip. The dust attachment does not allow any dust into the air. September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CAT sanding sheet As with the 60 and 80 sanding discs, wished these would have held up longer or been more abrasive- had very rough, weathered wood to sand down September 13, 2016
