Customer Questions & Answers

Can I use this disc to cut a stone paver in half?

Asked by: Bob
Hi, Bob - The Diablo 4 1/2" x 1/4" Masonry grinding wheel is not designed to cut masonry items. It is designed to grind and shape masonry items. If wanting to use a grinder, you will have better results with the AvantiPRO Masonry Cut Off wheel (PBD045063101C). You may also want to invest in a Diamond wheel for Masonry if you have several cuts to make.

Which grinder blade should I use for thin set removal

Asked by: jim
Jim - Thank you for your interest in Diablo Grinding Accessories and your question. If the job or amount of thin set is rather small, I would suggest the Diablo DBD045250701C. However, if the job is rather large and there is a sizable amount of thin set, I recommend you use a Diamond Cup wheel that is sold in stores by Ridgid. Hope this helps!

ON my ryobi 453 the nut is hanging below the disk not allowing for flat sanding of concrete.

Is there a thinner nut available so the nut will not hang down thus allowing you to sand flat.
Asked by: Allen
Please contact the power tool manufacturer regarding the availability of a thinner nut. This grinding wheel is an industry standard size and is not intended for "flat grinding." The grinder is intended to be held at an angle.
