Customer Questions & Answers

Can I use this disc to cut a stone paver in half?

Asked by: Bob
Hi, Bob - The Diablo 4 1/2" x 1/4" Masonry grinding wheel is not designed to cut masonry items. It is designed to grind and shape masonry items. If wanting to use a grinder, you will have better results with the AvantiPRO Masonry Cut Off wheel (PBD045063101C). You may also want to invest in a Diamond wheel for Masonry if you have several cuts to make.

ON my ryobi 453 the nut is hanging below the disk not allowing for flat sanding of concrete.

Is there a thinner nut available so the nut will not hang down thus allowing you to sand flat.
Asked by: Allen
Please contact the power tool manufacturer regarding the availability of a thinner nut. This grinding wheel is an industry standard size and is not intended for "flat grinding." The grinder is intended to be held at an angle.

Does this grinder have a grit number, would like to use on grinding/polishing concrete?

Asked by: j1159
We do not list grit size on our grinding or cut off wheels, but this would be between a 24G and 36G. However, this product is not used for polishing concrete. We may have something you can use but we need more detail Please send me an email with what you are trying to do and we shoud be able to recommend something. Stacey
