Product Overview

Diablo's premium Steel Demon 5-3/8 in. x 30 Tooth Carbide Ferrous Metal Saw Blade has teeth made of Ti-Co high density carbide with titanium for a design that withstands impact, reduces wear, and lasts longer that standard carbide in metal cutting applications. Tri-metal shock resistant brazing allows metal cutting carbide tips to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability. Non-stick Perma-Shield coating protects the blade from heat and corrosion, reduces friction and pitch buildup. Laser-cut stabilizer vents absorb noise and reduce vibration for a cleaner cut and longer life.

  • Efficiently cut through ferrous metals quickly and accurately, leaving clean, burr free cuts
  • Ideal for cutting steel studs, steel pipe, and steel sheet
  • Ideal for most mild steels under 1/8 in. thickness
  • Laser-cut stabilizer vents for reduced vibration and precise cuts
  • Durable Triple Chip Grind (TCG) tooth design for clean, chip free and long life cuts
  • Perma-shield permanent coating prevents gumming and corrosion

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works better than expected, but short life. I used this blade to make 45deg cuts in 1-1/4" square tubing with 1/8" wall. It cuts cleanly and leaves a nice edge. It only made about 16 cuts before it got dull, and I was babying it, so it is not for big projects. I bought a 2nd one to finish another project, and I would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cuts some steel I have a chopsaw, bandsaw, grinder and plasma cutter. When I neeed a cut NOW I'll grab this blade. If your using in a worm drive saw wear ppe. Standard saws don't have the full guards like metal cutting saws. Metal chips go everywhere. Impressed with the blade.

Got this blade and a cheap Riobi chop saw that HD had on sale for $75 and went to town on it. It worked great! It makes a very clean cut (you'll still want a file to deburr though). The blade appears to have held up well, too. I suggest a light touch to keep from developing too much heat. This does throw metal shards, some of which will be hot. These will embed themselves in paint and plastic, and just generally go *everywhere*. So don't use this on a chop saw you care about. And be prepared to contain the debris. That said, this is much cleaner than abrasive blades. All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I first used this saw blade with a little hesidency but after several cuts, it only got easier. It still is a sharp as when I made the first cut. But, you have to be careful, this blade throws metal slivers like a regular blade throws wood shavings in wood. This is the blade for the price for cutting metal siding.

It doesn't cut stainless as well as the diamond tipped grinder-style blade. I would buy again, as it lasts very well, but when I have to cut stainless, I will use the diamond tipped

We install it on an 8.5" mitersaw for steel studs and aside from being quite loud (we call it the banshee), it works great. far less sparks than the usual chopbox.
