I use several grits of sanding disc so I wanted to give Diablo a try against the ones I've been using.
The Diablo is a well built sanding disc the only con would be the dust holes on the disc. In an effort to make the Diablo versatile they punched a variant of holes to fit 5 hole and 8 holes sanders. I have a 5 hole orbiting sander. The holes in the Diablo are two different sizes. To align the Diablo to my sanding pad I had to use both size holes on my hook loop pad. The small holes of the sanding disc partially blocked the large hole of the hook loop pad. I felt I lost some dust pickup because of this.
The overall construction of the disc is great. The "loop" held firmly to my sanders "hook" even when used on aggressive grain wood. The sand grit seems to stay sharper and clogs less then my regular sanding disc.
The photos included show sanding of pine and western cedar. My usual disc is used on the right side and the Diablo on the left side.
So, outside the issue with the dust hole the Diablo is a great sanding disc.

I love how easy it is to change grits of sandpaper. These stick very well to the sander and make sanding a quick and easy part of the project.

Diablo's premium 5 in. 100-Grit universal, 12-hole random orbital sanding discs with Hook & Lock backing are essential if you have a sander. They are easy to put on and they make sanding enjoyable. Their quality and productivity works as described. They fit any 5 and 8 hole sanders. If you have any projects coming up, these will be your go-to product.

This is a good sandpaper that lines up nicely with the dust holes in both my orbital sanders (different brands). The design is such that it doesn't promote loading so you can go without having to clean it every few minutes. No negatives about this product at all. It's a bargain given the price of some of the other choices out there. Highly recommend you give this one a try!

These are nice sanding discs. The four-pak size is convenient for smaller jobs. The hook-
lock backing holds securely to my Bosch sander, with no fly-offs. The abrasive seems long
lasting and uniform, with no coarser grains causing scratching. Also saw no signs of the
discs loading up with residue. I've used other brands where a wire brush is needed to clean
the discs, and each disc only lasts for about 4 cleanings.
I've got mixed feelings about the hole pattern in these discs. With my 8 hole sander, only
half of the 8 holes are fully open. The pattern only allows full flow through 4 of the
holes. However, this hasn't caused any problems that I've noticed. I haven't tried them
with a 5 hole sander.

These sanding discs hold well to bare wood and light bare metal sanding. The sanding discs seem to clear themselves out okay. I have not tried them yet on any painted surfaces. I like the fact that the sanding discs are heavier duty then the cheaper ones I am used to. I ran this close to edges that tear up normal discs and the Diablo sanding discs didn't come off or get ripped up like my cheaper ones. That makes these Diablo sanding disc safer.

The Diablo discs are the most economical of any that I have used. they hold up well and do a great job in the most important finish stage. I have tried a more expensive brand and don't think that they are as durable as Diablo.

These sanding disks fit my DeWalt random-orbital just right - the holes lined right up. The actual grit material is not specified except as "premium ceramic blend". That's probably aluminum oxide, the stuff that almost all regular sandpaper is made of, suitable for wood and materials other than glass and hard steel. It works well, and the velcro backing grabs onto any other velcro. The pad stuck to my little triangular palm sander, but the holes don't line up. But it works well by pulling it off and rotating it from time to time. How long it lasts depends on what you are sanding: pine - a long time, maple - not as long, steel - a couple of minutes, glass - a couple of seconds. I have always gotten good use out of Diablo sanding discs and belts. Diablo red is a sure sign of quality.
