These discs wore out incredibly quickly and the universal hole arrangement creates more problems than it solved. These discs are a major disappointment. I bought them because they're from Diablo, but couldn't believe how poorly they perform. I was sanding a wooden clubhouse I built for my kids so I can re-stain it. The wood is weathered, but not so rough that it should tear up the discs this quickly. I had to change discs every couple of boards. I'll never buy them again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 59ona64 Sandpaper that sands. BAM!
What do you expect from sandpaper? That it's going to sand. And any sandpaper will sand for a little while. What sets this sandpaper apart? I just keeps going--hook and loop works great on my Rigid sander, holes are in the right spot for the dust bag/vacuum. I got the 50-pack. With the durability of the grit on the sanding pad, this is going to last a long, long time.

The paper works ok but the smaller holes reduce the amount of dust collected. I bought 4 50 packs and as soon as they are used in going back to lowes for the true 8 hole ones.

Came in handy sanding the hull of my boat. They go on quick and come off easy.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by RLW66 Poor dust control
The attempt to cover different hole patterns on the shoes of various sanders defeats the engineered pattern of every palm sander - and all three of my 8 hole sanders fail to collect as much dust when using these sanding disks as when using those cut with 8 holes. Also, these disks lose their cutting ability faster than 3M or Norton and I have found the need to change them about 2:1 more often than when using 3M. In short, if you are okay with using disks faster and cleaning up more sanding dust then save the money and go with these. Otherwise, switch to 3M or Norton and spend more time getting projects finished.
