I have used this product on both wood and fiberglass. It is long lasting and doesn't "load" up. By not loading up, I mean that you can sand a large surface area and the pad doesn't get clogged with material like cheaper products that I have used in the past do. I would definitely recommend the product

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve worked as advertised
Purchased 100 / 150 / 220 grit hook and loop discs for the wing wood work on my Skybolt. The hook and loop feature makes switching grits a breeze. Diablo makes a high quality, durable disc that quickly produced an even, smooth surface ready for the epoxy varnish. The 50 unit pack option is a great cost reducer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cat Work great and for a great deal!
Long lasting, they don't load up as bad as others. The universal dust holes are great. I got my 50 pack on sale for 20 bucks! At that price for such a great product, they are practically giving them away. I am working on a woodworking project every week as well as routing all my own trim and staining my own doors in a full remodel. My last 50 pack lasted me a 2 1/2 years. Try to keep them in a climate controlled area when storing. The adhesive that holds the grit on seems to lose effectiveness when loaded with high humidity

This brand of sand paper has an outstanding qualities: It does last longer than other brands and it feels that it really sands through the finish as I spected.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tilepainter good sanding disks
These sanding disks fit my DeWalt random-orbital just right - the holes lined right up. The actual grit material is not specified except as "premium ceramic blend". That's probably aluminum oxide, the stuff that almost all regular sandpaper is made of, suitable for wood and materials other than glass and hard steel. It works well, and the velcro backing grabs onto any other velcro. The pad stuck to my little triangular palm sander, but the holes don't line up. But it works well by pulling it off and rotating it from time to time. How long it lasts depends on what you are sanding: pine - a long time, maple - not as long, steel - a couple of minutes, glass - a couple of seconds. I have always gotten good use out of Diablo sanding discs and belts. Diablo red is a sure sign of quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PapaG Works well and lasts a good amount of time
Diablo 5" Sanding discs quickly remove surface material, are affordable, last a good amount of time between disc changes, and gives a high quality "Furniture Finish". I've been using these discs for many years for making Cabinetry and for sanding the interior walls of our Log Home. I highly recommend this product!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Shiny Poor Performance From Trusted Brand Product
A lot I read bad reviews and it's fun to imagine what people have gotten into that was far more difficut than they expected. Sometimes you can witness the origins of a bad review in real time at the store when the person is standing there with a 12v drill and a 2 1/2" Forstner bit. But in this case the bad reviews are warranted. We buy thousands of 5" Diablo sanding discs every year, but only in 120 Grit and finer. This is the first time I've used the 80 Grit discs and it's also the last. These discs clog up, tear and just fall apart and they do it fast! After going through 15 discs in less than an hour on new, F1F claro walnut I stopped using them and went back to 120 Grit Diablo discs and they performed as I've come to expect. The 80 Grit are just awful.
