I love using random orbital sanders because of the evenness by which they remove material over large surfaces. I've always, however, struggled with the adhesive backed papers because the adhesive would break down with the heat from the friction and the paper would become misaligned. With the velcro, hook and lock backing on this paper, the alignment stays true and the paper wears evenly throughout.
The paper itself is top notch. It sheds the material and doesn't get all clogged up. It's fast too and removes the material pretty quick. Great paper, good hold and good durability.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fred good sanding disc
I have been using this paper for several years. It is always a constant product. I have used 40 grit to 320 grit and all have done a very good job. The sanding surface last good and usually used the very center of the disc to sand or knock of a edge of a board. I also like it better since they change the hole design by adding some bigger holes, It seems to be better on the dust collection whether on the bag or vaccum

Diablo has a name in any of its products that tell you that its strong and ready to be used. These fit my orbital sander just perfect and the holes line up so it sucks the dust away so you are not in a cloud. I use other diablo sanding disks that I purchased at Home Depot that are a rougher grit to sand a project but when I want to put a smooth finish on it I use the finer grit like 220. This gives a finished look to any project so that a finish coat of stain or lacquer look real good and sometimes it only takes 1 cote to get the desired look. I like this product and all of the other Diablo products.

Diablo makes one of the best saw blades, so when the opportunity arose to try their sanding disks what's a person to say. The one in this test is the 220 grit. Applying the disk to the sander was easy enough, lined the holes and started sanding. Once the sanding started the disk didn't slip or move. The sanding was flawless as depicted in the picture. Removal of the disk at the start out was reasonably hard because of the “Hook and Lock” system, but once you're able to start taking it off, it became easier without any damage because of the flexible makeup of the disk.

This is a good sandpaper that lines up nicely with the dust holes in both my orbital sanders (different brands). The design is such that it doesn't promote loading so you can go without having to clean it every few minutes. No negatives about this product at all. It's a bargain given the price of some of the other choices out there. Highly recommend you give this one a try!

Biablo is fast becoming a maker of quality sanding pads and saw blades. Durable, affordable and quality. I am using the 5" 220 to finish some new cabinetry. I am very satisfied w/ the end results.

Excellent performance. I bought a new sander that had uses the hook and loop pads. I was a little skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised that the pads stayed in place without any shifting. The dust collection system I use seemed to help to extend the time I was able to use each pad. The only time I had an issue was when I used the sander to strip some very old varnish. I t had gotten a little gummy so I doubt any sanding pad would have performed well. Other than that, I was impressed with these pads and I will be buying them again.

Tried the sand paper on my makita orbital sander and it fit perfectly. Used it to smooth out the face of a cabinet door I was making and it came out perfectly. I love it when things work out the way I planned it.
