It is expensive not sure why as it only has 4 teeth. It does kick up some dust so make sure you wear a mask and also eye protection as the saw I was using vented the dust up towards my face and made it difficult to see without eye protection.

I have the diablo and have made 10x the cuts I did with the Irwin and it is still cutting like the first cut. But diablo sandpaper as well. Great brand name!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut like butter I had to rip several pieces of Hardie trim boards. I was put off by the cost of this blade but needed my cuts to be perfect so reluctantly acquiesced. The blade cut the cement boards like butter! Also produced very little dust. Well worth every penny spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whole House of Hardi Board Regular saw blades don't cut it! While Hardi Board is cement, the Diamond Blade cuts right through it like butter. I won't use anything else under these conditions.
