Answer:
Hi, Art - The D1080X will cut 1/8” Acrylic material. However, to achieve the desired results, we would recommend the D1084L. The D1084L has a Triple Chip Grind tooth design and passive hook angle that will help ensure clean cuts and long life in Acrylic material.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 445 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It cuts cleanly I am using this on a 1950s-era Craftsman table saw. It has been great at crosscutting small wood items and at cleanly cutting plywood. The blade is heavy but thin. August 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I Love My Diablo Blade Always get this blade for my skill saw, this blade lasts for the things I cut. Not the most expensive blade but it is durable and gives me a clean straight cut everytime. June 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this blade My Hitachi chop saw works really well nice quality in each cut December 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice blade for the price This blade gives a fine smooth cut. I had been using the Diablo 82 tooth blade previously. The 90 tooth blade does as good a job as the 82 tooh and has a thinner curf. So thin that it causes a bit more friction on the riving knife on my table saw, but no so much that it is cannot be used for a rip cut on the table saw. I like the blade and will buy more in the future. I will also keep another blade with a wider curf on hand for ripping thicker material. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great blade and worth the extra $$$ This blade performs very well and gets the job done! Makes cutting easy and quick and this helps when don't have a lot of time, and don't want to make mistakes. I would buy this brand again if needed. July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Cross Cutting This blade cuts like a hot knife in butter. Awesome blade!! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saw blade These blades last a long time and save me money. I use my saw daily October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good cutting blade, but... The blade cuts beautifully and is very durable. However, I do have one issue. The blade has a 1" arbor. This in itself is not necessarily an issue, but once upon a time one of the "value" incentives used to be that blades came with an adapter to allow it to be used on 5/8" arbor tools as well. Not only did the blade not come with one, but they didn't even sell one in the store. October 11, 2016
