Answer:
Craftsman has made a lot of 8" saws over the years, its very difficult to know.
I suggest you look inside the saw with a flash light to see if you have 1/8" clearance (1/8" radius)
You could make a wood or heavy card board template and fit to the saw arbor to check clearances.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth Edges, Rips 2x's and Plywood I used it when replacing the siding on 16x24 garage. It cut smoothly and effortlessly from beginning to end. Crosscut and ripped 2x's, 5/8" plywood siding and trim. It fit my 8" hand held saw with no problems. March 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Get one and see for yourself. This will be the only brand of blades you ever buy after trying them. By far the best blades out there. September 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 8-1/4 in. x 40-Tooth Finish Saw Blade Works well on my Black and Decker saw for quick jobs. Cuts better than the orginial blade that the saw came with. Good value compared to most of the blades I looked at as a replacement May 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Like a hot knife through butter Bought a $25 dollar chop saw at a yard sale and bought this blade to replace the old rusty one that the saw came with. The saw cuts through everything I have thrown at it with the greatest of ease. Minimal tear out, and super smooth cut surface. Makes the saw feel brand new. August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by diablo saw blade It is 7:20 at night and i just finished my first real cut with this blade. I just ripped 12 feet of 1 7/8 lvl and this blade cuts really smooth and quiet. I used a small table top 8 inch circular saw. To my suprise i didn't know what to expect. Went better than i thought it would. I'll be staying with this brand for all replacements August 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by That's an awesome product! This is exactly the best product in the market by far. It cuts smoothly. If you're looking for a fine cut, this is what you've been looking for. Don't go to another cheaper blades, it's worth every penny you would spend on. September 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best blade for the job II have used these blades before to cut wood flooring. They cut clean and no ragged edges and lasted a long time (1 family room and 1 living room so far) No warping of the blade noted. August 22, 2014
