I have only used this heater four times and it meet my expectations. I have a double garage under of about 600 Sq ft. I installed a dedicated 30 amp 10/3 (i bought the wire bulk and needed the extra conductor for a subpanel) circuit instead of a 20, so I would have adequate reserve. I measured the true amperage of the unit and it was 19.3, I did not run the heat up to full operating temp so theoretically the amps could raise up to 10%. installed the heater in center of the garage with a 15' lead. This was so I could bring the heater to an isolated area where I would be working.
I set up the heater near the garage door which is the coldest spot in the garage. it was about 20 outside and by my car inside was about 35. the local area increased to about 55 in 35 minutes. This met my needs for doing a brake job. I think the temperature got up to 60 and I turn the thermostat down because it was getting to warm to work comfortably. I have no intention of trying to see if it will it the entire garage to say 65 because it would be a waste of energy. I will leave that to someone else's science project.
I will sum it by saying this unit meets the needs I set out. it heats the area I am working comfortably in a about a half hour. As far as noise level, it is a low hum and no way annoying. I am hoping it will last a good long time.

I will start by stating that I was surprised when the unit came in and it used a 220V plug different that what I expected.
I'm using the the heater in a garage connected to my house. I had run an feed from the hot air furnace into the garage, but when when outside temps dropped into the teens and lower, I could not keep the temp above 50 degrees.
I tried a lot of other heater, and they all ran constantly and none were ever able to bring the temp up. This unit has been great. Not only does it bring the temp up to 70 and keep it there, it does being able to cycle on/off as needed rather than running continuously.
Has been in use constantly for the past three months, and it has worked beautifully.

I cannot write a full review on performance. I do not yet have 230 volt access in the shop. I am having my shop wired and will install it then. (I plugged in to another area of my home and it worked fine, threw a lot of heat and was relatively quiet. Quieter than I expected it to be.) My woodshop is only 166 sq ft, purpose built. I fully expect that the heater will be ample to heat the shop on the coldest days.

I replaced a milkhouse heater used in the garage to keep it tolerable. 1500 w heater ran constantly and did a poor job. This little heater does a great job and keeps the garage at a constant temperature. The thermostat takes a little time to adjust as it only has a numbered dial. Be prepared it is not a large heater, about a foot square, and needs a 30amp 220/240 outlet. Outlet is relative easy to install with moderate electrical skill and about $30-$50 in materials depending on placement distance. It has a decent fan and needs a little clearance as it gets fairly hot.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dichotomous Excellent heater at an unbeatable price!
A high quality heater, puts out plenty of heat. I was hoping for Plug-and-Play, however the plug is an oddball item and rather than change the plug, I chose to provide a new outlet with the appropriate receptacle thus adding about $40.00 to the cost. I'm glad I did that as now I don't have to unplug my welder or lift to use the heater. Temps in northern AZ can drop to the 20's but I can easily take the chill off my uninsulated RV garage to work on pressing projects when I would have previously waited for the weather to improve. Highly recommended!
